Today, Santiago “Santy” R. Austria College honors the dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of every Filipino worker who continues to build a stronger and brighter future for our community and our nation.

𝘿𝙖𝙮 2 | 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙡 29, 2026�30𝙩𝙝 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 (3-𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚)

Santiago Santy R. Austria College continued its participation through the representation of Dr. Irene M. Diaz, Mr. Mark Jayson O. Maducdoc, and Ms. Romina Pillarina.

Day 2 focused on strengthening Student Affairs practices, from policy to implementation, emphasizing quality, consistency, and continuous development.

During the breakout session, the team attended “𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩” led by Dr. Baby Boy Benjamin D. Nebres III, University President of Bicol University, an insightful discussion that highlighted the importance of discipline systems that foster both responsibility and student growth.

Another productive day of learning and professional enrichment.

The conference officially commenced with a meaningful opening ceremony, bringing together Student Affairs practitioners committed to excellence and service.

Key highlights included the keynote address of Mr. Simon Lau, who emphasized the professionalization of Student Affairs in the Asia-Pacific region, and the plenary session by Dr. Corinna Frances O. Cabanilla on defining quality through standards, benchmarks, and national directions.

The day concluded with a training workshop focused on strengthening competencies and practices in the field.

It was a strong and inspiring start to a journey of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Our institution was proudly represented by our College Registrar, Ms. Romina P. Pillarina, during the 23rd ARHEI-III Registrars’ Assembly, a meaningful event that brought together registrars and academic officers from Region III to share best practices, strengthen collaboration, and promote transparency and efficiency in registrar services.

SSRAC remains one with the higher education community in advancing quality service and continuous institutional improvement.
