Today, our Federation of Bantay-Bayan Western Visayas group (FBBI-WESTERN VISAYAS) teamed up with the Electrical Engineers Association for a impactful cleanup drive at Capiz State University Main Campus in Roxas City. Together, we're building a cleaner, greener community!

Yesterday, January 14, 2026, our group from the FEDERATION OF BAN TAY BAYAN WESTERN VISAYAS (FBBI-Western Visayas) served as marshals all the way to the final resting place of the husband of sis Edalyn Acta's friend. Since her friend is the wife of the dearly departed.🕊️

Last night, our group, the Federation of Bantay Bayan Western Visayas (FBBI-Western Visayas) Ivisan Chapter, proudly fulfilled our duty at Sarah Geronimo's concert. Alongside other chapters, we enhanced security at this significant event, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Our commitment to community safety remains unwavering as we support local events that celebrate our vibrant culture. Together, we stand strong for a safer Western Visayas!

In our Bantay Bayan outpost, we are dedicated to serving the community selflessly, often risking our lives while volunteering without compensation. Unfortunately, we face disrespect and are often mistaken for just a headquarters, which undermines our commitment to peace and safety. A curfew has been implemented since last September during the barangay assembly meeting to enhance community safety. As volunteers, we respect you as civilians and hope for the same respect in return for service to the community. Together, let’s foster a harmonious environment where every contribution is valued and respected.

Yesterday, October 6, our group, the Federation of Bantay Bayan Western Visayas (Ivisan Chapter), provided security for the National MILO Marathon, which attracted nearly 8,000 participants across various distances: 21km, 10km, 5km, and 3km. During the event, we assisted a child who was struggling to breathe and vomiting; we promptly called for a rescue team, who arrived quickly to help. We are grateful to MILO for trusting us with the safety of this significant event.

Today, September 30, the Federation of Bantay Bayan Western Visayas (Ivisan Chapter) fulfilled our duty. We informed the police of our patrols, roamed Ivisan Market, and monitored the crossing in Poblacion Sur. We also patrolled Sta. Cruz proper and the housing area. Our efforts aim to enhance safety and reduce theft in our community!

The FBBI-Western Visayas (Ivisan Chapter) is currently stationed at the Ivisan Civic Center to ensure the safety of those attending the disco during the fiesta celebrations. Their presence is a testament to their commitment to the community and their dedication to providing a secure environment for all to enjoy the festivities.

We are saddened by an incident this morning, September 10, when two of our members from FBBI-Western Visayas (Ivisan Chapter) were walking along the Sta. Cruz highway. They found two bags of trash. Upon opening them, they discovered Shopee packaging and an ROTC form with names.
Week after week, we pick up trash in our barangay to keep our environment clean. It is disheartening that some people still carelessly litter. We hope for disciplinary action against those who irresponsibly throw their trash anywhere to maintain order and cleanliness in our community.

Last September 10, 2024, FBBI-Western Visayas (Ivisan Chapter) successfully hosted a boxing event at Ivisan Plaza, overseeing all activities to ensure a smooth ex*****on. The event not only celebrated boxing but also fostered community engagement, leaving a positive impact on local residents.
After the event, our team took the initiative to clean the area around Ivisan Plaza, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining a clean environment. We also ensured that the tents used for the referees were collected and returned to their proper storage locations. Additionally, we separated plastic bottles into designated containers for recyclables and compostable waste, reinforcing our dedication to environmental sustainability.

Last night, August 30, 2024, our group, the Federation of Bantay Bayan Western Visayas (Ivisan Chapter), participated in the PNP's disco event. We focused on our duty to ensure safety and support to the community. During the event, we also conducted patrols at the local fair and apprehended a man who was physically assaulting his girlfriend. It was a meaningful night of service, collaboration, and action to protect the community.
