‎I was never a fan of posting long messages on social media, but my emotional-teacher-side is urging me to share this message, so I guess this is an exemption.

‎To my St. Ezekiel, I heard some of you jokingly complain to me that I often send LSM to our GC, but the “S” does not stand for “sweet” rather “scolding”, so it’s a LONG SCOLDING MESSAGE for you. Hahahahahaha! The humor is humoring, medyo mana sa akon.

‎Mkay, let’s begin where everything started.

‎Remember the day before we all met? While you were excited preparing for the first day of school, I was also busy preparing myself for all of you. I was actually curious about each of your personalities and on what kind of bond I will be able to build upon each of you, and guess what? Y’all did not fail to make our first meeting something to look forward to.

‎I am writing this message while reminiscing our story, remembering everything my memory could reach, and know that I do, I remember each of you.

‎It was the 16th of June when your curious, nervous, and excited faces welcomed me. It feels like yesterday and now, we are already on the last whole week before this school year ends, yet I still remember how everything between us all began and even continued...

‎just like how Vin, Vince, and Michael challenged my patience by showing their playfulness even on my first day of being your class adviser...

‎how our Ayesha showed me her puzzled yet charming look while I was speaking in front of the class...

‎how Amier gets shy ’cause I often use his name whenever I provide an example scenario during my discussions...

‎how Mohadhier attentively looks at me as if he’s weighing every word that I speak, especially when I use Filipino, only to find out that he hardly understands straight Filipino mixed with Hiligaynon before...

‎how Elleana, the soon to be class president at that time, remained pretty composed when she handled the entire class that was roaring with noises...

‎how Cynn Fin proved her worth of being the Vice President before even being nominated... etc.

‎Everything was so chaotic and it didn’t even stop there, ’cause each day feels like an action movie with different scenarios to deal with...

‎just like how the boys tested how I manage heated fights between two wolves without knowing that I am the alpha... /j

‎how one loses his temper because he wasn’t able to eat the arroz caldo he bought at the school canteen kay naula daw, plus his prior unfortunate experiences that day...

‎how I was amazed when I noticed that the tallest girl in our class is actually a little kitten by heart...

‎how Raya and her friends care for her even without my watch, particularly, Pearl, Cria, Kyla, and Shania...

‎how Micaileigh and Lourinne ask me to shoot random tiktok videos with them...

‎how Lloyd reads my mood and immediately quiets his classmates down when the aura is dark just to prevent my dragon side from shining bright like a diamond...

‎how Job and Emman together with the team teaches me to play Mobile Legends sometimes just to beat boredom...

‎how Marco, Pio, and Norhaymie initiate cleaning the classroom after class...

‎how Lanz still stands as the backbone of the entire section even if sometimes, he gets disappointed with the one who he protects...

‎how Joerjeena gives me random gifts, and has no idea how valued I feel knowing that even in small things, she thinks of me...

‎how Kurt unknowingly eases my frustrations for making me laugh just by looking at him, and we end up laughing about nothing from a distance...

‎how Jerius shyly offers to bring or do something for our classroom, especially ang magdala sang downy maskin may fund man kita para ibakal...

‎how Alyka and Krischel show their endless banter with each other and are still friends...

‎how Charie expresses her unique weirdness and coolness, being the most unpredictable girl in class...

‎how Ashley and Raicel are shy in showing their artworks to me yet manages to rank in the poster making contest at school...

‎how Edrian never fails na mag-bless whenever he sees me...

‎how Princess Nor's contagious laughter affects each of us...

‎how Garien gets annoyed whenever I tease him by his username in ML “Ed Dan—”, but never disrespected me out of it, he even teases me back...

‎how Xian and Mark still bravely tease me with their playfulness while knowing that they might fly directly to the moon if I get annoyed... /j

‎how Clivent and Joel, appear uninterested but actually ace their quizzes if they get serious...

‎how Juvienz, the confident one, surprised me with his dancing skills, especially budots last Feast Day...

‎how Leonard acts all excited whenever he talks to me and obeys my instructions...

‎how the most nonchalant person burst in laughter, anger, and frustrations before our eyes...

‎how most of you trust me and randomly open up about your experiences in love, embarrassment, or even heartaches. top one gid si dear Maria...

‎how each of you immediately behaves like an innocent cat when mama cat loses her temper... XD

‎how everyone plays like a lost puppy even under the rain...

‎how most of the boys play like a child until one runs towards me only to report a problem he was actually the one who caused...

‎how the rest of the class throws jokes and laughs along with their own companies.

‎and how most of the boys share their jokes with me such as... “Ma’am, sugot ka nga malakat sa outer space pero oxygen mo utot?”, “Ma’am, sugot ka ikaw pinaka-gwapa sa earth pero bulag kami tanan?”, “Ma’am, sugot ka masali karera pero gakamang?”, and the like.

‎LOL

‎There are too many to mention, but whatever rollercoaster experiences I have had to deal with under your section will always remain, that even if my mind soon forgets, my heart will always yearn for all of those days. True enough that our journey wasn't smooth sailing. Like others, we also went through a series of struggles, tears, anger, fights, heartaches, and misunderstandings, but the joy stands above all of it.

‎I am not perfect too, but know that everything I did, the necessary scolding and words, were all meant to discipline you and not to shame you. I did it out of care, ’cause if not, I will not waste time to straighten your misbehaviors. Nevertheless, while teaching you about life, I was also learning. And it was honestly a hard experience but I really had lots of fun, maskin with matching ugtas pa na kay mga pasaway man. Hahahahaha!

‎Class, ten months weren’t long enough to know y’all deeply, but the attachment you've created will forever rest in my heart. You were my first advisory class as a teacher, and leaving me alone in the vastness of these bittersweet memories is actually nothing compared to seeing all of you face life with more courage, carrying the lessons you have learned from our journey.

‎There’s a lot to say and these words are just part of a chapter, so I’ll sum it all in four cringe-sounding words but holds sincere love and future longing...

‎“Palangga kamo ni Ma’am,”

‎Despite sa mga ugtas, mas lamang ang gratitude ko for having the opportunity to handle your section. As I try to value your uniqueness everyday, you also never fail to extend your love and understanding towards me.

‎AND I AM GRATEFUL

‎So good luck to whatever path you will choose, St. Ezekiel. Life may not be easy for you, but know that I will be cheering even when you’re learning from your mistakes. 🥰

‎See you around!

We may not have aced the top spot, but our hearts surely soared with joy and gratitude. Finishing the dance just a few hours before performing was already a huge win, so congratulations to us, St. Ezekiel! Not an excuse, just a reflection of our journey.

What a rollercoaster of an experience, and we’ve all learned so much. Bloom!
