Bonita Elementary School actively participated in the School-Based Immunization (SBI) 2026 campaign on September 18, 2026, supporting the Department of Health’s commitment to keeping our learners healthy and protected.

The activity focused on providing essential immunization to eligible learners against vaccine-preventable diseases, including HPV, Measles, Rubella, and Tetanus.

We sincerely thank the RHU Isulan health personnel, Barangay Health Workers of Sampao, school personnel, parents, and our supportive stakeholders for their cooperation and dedication in making this health initiative possible. ❤️🤝

Special appreciation also goes to Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan M. Sakaluran for the continued support to programs that promote the health and well-being of our children. 💚

🌱💚 A DAY OF HEALTH, LEARNING, AND PARTNERSHIP! 💚🌱 September 9, 2026

Bonita Elementary School successfully conducted three meaningful activities that support the holistic development and well-being of our learners: the Gulayan sa Paaralan Evaluation, Immunization Orientation, and Term 1 Releasing of Cards. 🌿💉📚

The Gulayan sa Paaralan Evaluation highlighted our continued commitment to promoting healthy food, environmental awareness, and sustainable school gardening. The Immunization Orientation provided valuable information to parents and guardians about the importance of vaccination in protecting our learners from preventable diseases. Meanwhile, the Term 1 Releasing of Cards gave parents an opportunity to learn about their children's academic progress and work together with teachers in supporting their learning journey. 🏫✨

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF A FIRE STARTED?

For the Scouts of Bonita Elementary School, knowing what to do during a fire became more than just a lesson, it became a skill they can carry beyond the classroom.

During the Joint BSP and GSP DRRM Camp 2026 on September 8, the Scouts learned practical fire safety and survival skills under the guidance of FO1 Rommel C Ferrer and FO1 Noel H Bacus Jr. of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Isulan Fire Station.

The Scouts gained hands-on experience in using a fire extinguisher, improvised firefighting using a bucket of water, and the Stop, Drop, and Roll technique—simple but important skills that can help them respond appropriately during a fire emergency.

The activity served as a reminder that when an emergency happens, knowing what to do and staying calm can make a difference.

Through practical learning, Bonita ES continues to equip its young Scouts with the confidence and preparedness needed to keep themselves and others safe.

Isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa mas mahusay na pagbasa at pagkatuto ng mga bata. Sa pamamagitan ng ARAL Program 2026, layunin nating mabigyan ang mga mag-aaral ng karagdagang gabay, suporta, at mga makabuluhang gawain upang mapaunlad ang kanilang kasanayan sa pagbasa.

Tema: Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon

Sa makabuluhang pagtatapos ng ating pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ipinagmamalaki ng Bonita Elementary School ang temang nagpapaalala sa atin: ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang ating nakaraan, ito rin ang ating hinaharap!

Sa panahon ng makabagong teknolohiya at Artificial Intelligence (AI), ang ating sariling wika ay nananatiling pinakamahalagang kasangkapan sa paghahanap ng kaalaman at tulay na nag-uugnay sa atin sa yaman ng impormasyon sa buong mundo.

Mula sa masisigaw na tula, makukulay na kasuotan, magandang pagkukulay, hanggang sa malikhaing pagtatanghal, ipinakita ng ating mga mag-aaral at g**o na ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika ay magkatuwang sa pag-unlad at pagkatuto.

Maraming salamat sa ating mga g**o, magulang, at mag-aaral na naging bahagi ng makulay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang na ito! Patuloy nating gamitin, pahalagahan, at paunlarin ang Wikang Filipino, kasama ng teknolohiya, para sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan ng bawat isa.

We successfully conducted our 2nd School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session, guided by our Resource Person, Ms. Imee T. Reyes, Teacher III, and our Learning Facilitator, Mr. Reycil C. Landerio, Master Teacher I. The session focused on meaningful teaching strategies to develop critical and creative thinking, as well as higher-order thinking skills among learners. Through shared insights and discussions, we gained practical approaches to help our students think deeply and creatively in every lesson.

🚨 SIMULATED EARTHQUAKE AND FIRE DRILL | AUGUST 14, 2026 🚨

Bonita Elementary School successfully conducted a Simulated Earthquake and Fire Drill on August 14, 2026, as part of our continuing commitment to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

The activity was conducted with the guidance and technical support of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Isulan and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Isulan, under the initiative of Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan M. Sakaluran.

The drill provided our school community with an opportunity to practice essential emergency response procedures, including proper evacuation, headcount, search and rescue, fire suppression, medical response, victim transport, and coordination with emergency responders.

More than just a drill, this activity helped us assess our preparedness, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen teamwork and coordination during emergencies.

🙏 Our sincere appreciation to BFP Isulan, MDRRMO Isulan, and Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan M. Sakaluran for their invaluable support and commitment to promoting a safer and more disaster-resilient community.
