TRAFFIC ADVISORY: IMPLEMENTATION OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2026-373 ISB ON DOLLETE STREET
Please be informed that the Sangguniang Bayan of Isulan enacted Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-373 ISB during its Regular Session on July 20, 2026. This ordinance, entitled "Ordinance Regulating the Use of Dollete Street Fronting the Notre Dame of Isulan, Inc., Providing for the Rules and Regulations Thereof and for Other Purposes," was officially approved by Municipal Mayor Princess Rihan M. Sakaluran on July 30, 2026.
This regulation addresses critical safety and traffic issues on Dollete Street during school days, including heavy traffic congestion, safety risks to students crossing the road, obstruction of emergency access routes, and an increased risk of accidents due to opposing traffic movements.
All motorists and members of the school community are strictly mandated to adhere to the following regulations:
One-Way Traffic Scheme:
On school days, Dollete Street operates under a strict One-Way Traffic Scheme during designated peak hours. All vehicles will be rerouted to Dapitan Street, except those authorized under the ordinance. The designated hours are:
Morning: 6:00 A.M. to 7:30 A.M.
Afternoon: 3:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Entry and Exit Route:
Dollete Street is designated primarily as the entry and exit route for students, parents, guardians, school personnel, emergency vehicles, and other authorized vehicles accessing Notre Dame of Isulan, Inc. (NDI, Inc.).
Prohibition on Double Parking:
The double parking of all public and private motor vehicles along Dollete Street is strictly prohibited at all times. No vehicle may be parked alongside another vehicle that is already legally parked in a manner that obstructs or impedes traffic.
Designated Parking Area:
Parking of motor vehicles is permitted exclusively within the designated parking area located on the right side of Dollete Street, alongside the entrance gate of Notre Dame of Isulan, Inc. Motorists must follow all traffic signs, road markings, and directions issued by the Municipal Traffic Management Office or authorized traffic enforcement personnel.
Penalty Clause:
Violations of any provision of this ordinance will result in the vehicle being impounded at the designated impounding area until the fine is fully paid. Fines are structured as follows:
First Offense: P 500.00
Second Offense: P 1,000.00
Third and Succeeding Offenses: P 2,500.00
