Despite the rainy afternoon, Jaysel Tanhaji (Batch Coordinator), Sara Angging (Documenter), and Hussin Sailabi (Logistic Committee) braved the weather to bring donated clothes and bags to those who lost everything in the blaze. The handover ceremony took place at the Barangay Diki Hall, where they were warmly received by Punong Barangay Nihma Janing-Deman.

We're grateful to our generous donors, Jeanette Rojas, Margarita Auxtero, Vidalyn Tinay, Antonia Tanhaji, and others who preferred to remain anonymous, for their kindness and support. Special thanks also to Jasmine Luv Deman for guiding and helping us bring the donations to the Barangay Hall. Your contributions have helped bring comfort and practical relief to our neighbors in need.

As we continue to navigate the aftermath of this disaster, we're reminded that together, we can make a real difference. Salamat sa inyong lahat!

From the halls where our dreams once beganโ€”Malamawi National High School, the school we proudly graduated fromโ€”we came together for a purpose greater than ourselves.

This donation drive was organized with one goal: to extend help to the learners of Malamawi National High School and MS Bernardo Elementary School, who were affected by a recent fire. Despite the hardship they faced, their courage and determination to continue learning inspired us all.

With the collective effort of kind-hearted individuals, we were able to reach 62 elementary learners and 52 secondary learners, providing them with school kits and a reminder that they are not alone. ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ“š

We would like to express our deepest respect and gratitude to the school heads who welcomed us and facilitated the distribution:

๐Ÿซ Jemhar Paredes, Principal of Malamawi National High School
๐Ÿซ Kasim Elang, Principal of MS Bernardo Elementary School

Thank you for opening your doors and allowing us to bridge help to your students.

Our sincerest gratitude also goes to our generous donors. Because of you, we were able to turn this vision into reality:

Angelita Kadusale
Arpus Sulaiman
Jaysel Tanhaji
Kenny Perez
Mohammad Ihsan Anuddin

To the volunteers who shared resources, time, effort, and manpowerโ€”to Jaysel Tanhaji: the head of the team, Sara Angging: the documenter, Faila Abdurahman: the finance handler, and Hussin Sailabi and Nadzmer Salih:the logistic coordinators. Big or small, every contribution played a vital role in making this initiative a success.

This drive is more than just giving supplies; it is about giving hope, rebuilding dreams, and paying forward the blessings we once received as students ourselves. ๐Ÿ’›

Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nakiisa at tumulong.
Together, we prove that when a community stands as one, no challenge is too great to overcome. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

Demonstrating that their bond to their community remains as strong as ever, the Malamawi National High School (MNHS) Batch 2015 organized and successfully conducted a rapid-response donation drive today, February 17, 2026.

โ€‹The mission was clear, to ensure that the 114 student-victims affected by the fire have the supplies they need to continue their education despite the tragedy.

โ€‹The drive kicked off its first stop at Malamawi National High School. The atmosphere was one of solidarity as the team distributed essential school supplies to 52 students who lost their belongings in the blaze. โ€‹The alumni were warmly welcomed and assisted by โ€‹Principal Jemhar Paredes, โ€‹OIC Leah Sobrevega, and โ€‹the dedicated MNHS Faculty. Their coordination ensured that the supplies reached the hands of those who needed them most.
โ€‹
โ€‹By the afternoon, the Batch 2015 team moved to their second stop at MS Bernardo Elementary School. There, they catered to another 62 learners who were also victims of the recent fire. The team was graciously welcomed by Principal Kasim Elang and his teaching staff, who helped facilitated the distribution.
โ€‹
โ€‹This successful outreach wouldnโ€™t have been possible without the tireless efforts of the alumni who spearheaded the logistics on the ground. A huge salute goes to โ€‹Jaysel Tanhaji: the initiator and head of the team, โ€‹Sara Angging: the documenter, โ€‹Faila Abdurahman: finance handler, and logistic coordinators โ€‹Hussin Sailabi and Nadzmer Salih.

โ€‹Beyond the physical distribution, the Batch 2015 organizers wish to extend their deepest gratitude to their donors and fellow batchmates, Arpus Sulaiman and Angelita Kadusale, including the special and sincere monetary donations from Engr. Ameer Amjad, Kenny Perez, Mohammad Insan Anuddin, and others who wished to kept it private. Their generous financial contributions were the primary reason the team was able to purchase the school supplies distributed today.
