DBLES Strengthens Patriotism and Peace Through Flag Raising Activity, Values Resoration Program, and Peace Campaign
Isabela Negros Occidental — August 17, 2026. Don Benito Lopez Elementary School (DBLES) began the week with a meaningful Flag Ceremony, Values Restoration Program, and Peace Campaign this Monday morning, bringing learners and teachers together in promoting good values and a peaceful school community.
Leading the Values Restoration Program was Ma’am Jelaine Junio, who highlighted the Core Value of Patriotism, with emphasis on the value focus “Promotion of the Common Good.” Her message reminded learners that loving one’s country is also shown through simple acts of kindness, respect, responsibility, and concern for others.
Adding meaning to the activity, the learners recited the Bully-Free Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
The learners also presented an interpretative dance to the peace song “We Are the World,” expressing through movement their message of unity, compassion, and hope.
The activity served as a heartfelt reminder that peace and good values begin with each one of us—and that even small acts of kindness can help build a better school and a better community.
