✨Career Guidance Caravan 2026 Inspires Caro NHS Students to “Explore Your Path, Empower Your Future”✨
Caro NHS came alive with inspiration and ambition as it hosted the Career Guidance Caravan last February 27, 2026 carrying the powerful theme: “Explore Your Path, Empower Your Future.”
The event gathered Grade 10 and Grade 12 students equipping them with essential insights and practical advice as they prepare for senior high school tracks, higher education, and future careers.
The caravan featured distinguished resource speakers from key government agencies and organizations who shared valuable knowledge about career pathways, employment opportunities, and skills development. Among the invited speakers were:
📍Mr. Yasher R. Hayudini, Administrator of PTC TESDA BARMM, who emphasized the importance of technical-vocational education and skills training in today’s competitive workforce.
📍Mr. Alvin Ocliaso, DOLE Officer III, who provided an overview of labor market trends, workers’ rights, and employment programs available for young Filipinos.
📍Llyoud M. Ramorez, RHMPP, who inspired students to pursue careers in public service and community development, reminding them that meaningful work goes beyond income—it creates lasting impact.
Adding excitement to the event were visitors from the Division Office, Ms. Jenny P. Tuazon and Mr. Tony Jumalon, Division Youth Formation Coordinators. Their presence further strengthened the school’s commitment to youth empowerment and leadership development. They awarded cash prizes for the Best in Attire, recognizing students who dressed professionally to reflect their chosen career paths. The activity not only encouraged creativity but also helped students envision themselves in their future professions.
With the collaborative efforts of school administrators, invited speakers, and the Division Office, the event truly embodied its theme—encouraging every student to explore their path and empower their future.
As the program concluded, students left the venue not just with notes and certificates, but with renewed confidence and a clearer vision of the journeys ahead.

✨ Teachers Strengthen Research Skills on Second Day of INSET ✨
The second day of the In-Service Training (INSET) was held on February 20, 2026, with teachers from the three participating schools -- ICNHS, KNHS, and Caro NHS. School leaders from these schools were also present to show their support. The activity aimed to help teachers improve their skills in doing research to address pressing issues and problems at the school level.
The resource speaker, Sir Ekmar J. Sakib, Principal II of Ismael Integrated School, discussed how to write Action Research using the DepEd template and guidelines. He explained the important parts of an Action Research paper and gave simple and clear steps on how teachers can prepare their own research proposals.
In the afternoon, teachers presented their Action Research proposals wherein they shared their ideas and received helpful feedback from fellow teachers, school heads, and the resource speaker himself. At the end of the training, Mr. Sakib reminded everyone about the value of passion. He said that if teachers have a passion for learning and doing research, everything will become easier and fall into place.

CaNHS Holds Early Registration for Incoming Grade 7 Students
CARO, February 09, 2026 — Caro National High School conducted an Early Registration activity for incoming Grade 7 students at Caro Elementary School as part of its preparations for the upcoming school year.
The activity aimed to facilitate the early submission and processing of enrollment requirements and to ensure a smooth academic transition for learners moving to the next level.
According to school officials, early registration plays a vital role in effective academic planning, including the proper allocation of classrooms, teaching personnel, and instructional materials. The initiative also helps ensure that students are adequately prepared before the start of classes.
The aforementioned activity was spearheaded by Sir Jerico C. Dela Cruz, School Head, facilitated by the SSLG adviser, Ma’am Machiku P. Custodio, along with the SSLG President Alzalman Pitilan, and the Grade 7 adviser Ma’am Nikki P. Mana-ay.
The school extends its profound appreciation to the School Head of Caro Elementary School, Ma’am Fe Salisa, for the warm welcome.

✨ Teachers Gather for INSET Series Beginning February 6✨
An In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers officially started on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Kumalarang National High School. This marked the first of four consecutive Friday sessions aimed at strengthening classroom instruction and assessment practices with the theme: "Enhancing Teacher Competence through Innovative Strategies, Research, Inclusion, and Well-being".
The opening day featured three focused learning sessions led by experienced educators from Basilan National High School. The first session was facilitated by Ma'am Fherziya A. Quiliban, Teacher VI, who discussed effective strategies in numeracy. This was followed by a session on literacy conducted by Ma’am Olga O. Sandal, Teacher VI, who highlighted strategies to improving reading and language competencies among students specifically with the aid of AI. The third session was led by Sir Anthony P. Remandaban, Master Teacher II, who introduced teachers to PISA-like assessments underscoring the importance of international standards in evaluating student performance.
Participants in the training included teachers from Isabela City NHS, Kumalarang NHS, and Caro NHS, fostering collaboration and shared learning among the participating schools.
The event was further graced by the presence of key education leaders, the Principals and Asst. Principal of the participating schools in the person of Sir Raul A. Abasto, Ma'am Rahma Asjali, Ma'am Raquel A. Tanangonan, and Sir Jerico C. Dela Cruz. Also in attendance was the distinguished PSDS of West I, Dr. Jamir A. Lujuman, who highlighted the significance of the training initiative.
The INSET program will continue every Friday over the next four weeks, serving as a platform for professional growth and instructional improvement among teachers.

Successfully conducted the Computer-Based National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) for our Grade 10 learners.
A significant step in helping them discover their strengths, interests, and possible career pathways through a modern and learner-centered assessment. The smooth implementation of this activity reflects our shared commitment to quality education and career guidance.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our dedicated proctors, Sir Kristian James Seledio of Kumalarang NHS and Ma’am Leilani Pableo of Makiri ES, for their professionalism and diligence in ensuring an orderly and credible examination process. We also extend our sincere thanks to Ma’am Vina Fe Bantigue for her invaluable assistance and active support throughout the conduct of the examination.
We likewise express our deep appreciation to the faculty and staff of Caro NHS for their unwavering support and cooperation—from the careful preparation to the successful actual examination. Your teamwork and dedication truly made a difference.

The successful conduct of the Division PPEs, SME, and DCP Package Monitoring underscores our continuous commitment to transparency, accountability, and the effective utilization of educational resources in our schools. This important activity was conducted by the Division Monitoring Team headed by Engr. Gellie Tan, with the dedicated support of Ma’am Adawiya Jalil, Supply Officer; SEPS SMME Ma’am Ilyn Paraman; EPS Sir Eugene Andrion; PSDS Yashier Susulan, together with the rest of the monitoring team.
Through collaborative engagement and on-site validation, the team ensured that the provided PPEs, SME interventions, and DCP packages are properly accounted for, well-maintained, and aligned with the instructional needs of teachers and learners. This monitoring activity is not merely a compliance check, but a shared effort to strengthen systems, address gaps, and promote continuous improvement in school operations and learning delivery.

Caro National High School launched its Reading Month 2025 celebration this November highlighting various interesting literacy activities. Throughout the month-long celebration, students took part in various contests such as Readers Theater, Spelling Bee, Oratorical Piece Writing and Reading Comprehension Activity. Adding to the celebration is the much-anticipated English Camp. The school grounds and hallways were buzzing with excitement as students participated in various activities set up in 10 stations.
