Today, June 12, 2026, the teachers of Isabela West Elementary School proudly gathered at the Isabela Public Plaza to commemorate the 128th Philippine Independence Day.

The event featured a solemn flag-raising ceremony, the singing of the national anthem, and a wreath-laying ceremony to pay tribute to the local and national heroes who paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today.

As an institution of learning, Isabela West ES remains committed to nurturing young minds who are not only academically excellent but also deeply rooted in Makabayan values.

Known for being incredibly active and exceptionally talented, we know she is going to bring so much joy, creativity, and learning to our school.

To ensure that all of our learners are growing healthy and strong, our School Principal Angelie N. Dela Cruz and AO Jedda Cornelio conducted a follow-up Height and Weight Measurement for the computation of Body Mass Index (BMI).

This measurement session is specifically for additional pupils those who were transferred, newly enrolled, or missed the initial height and weight check conducted during our recent Brigada Eskwela.

Today, the Isabela West Elementary School community gathered once again for our weekly Monday PEACE Program. This morning, our hearts and minds were set on a powerful combination: the core value of Excellence and our value focus, Leadership.

It means choosing to do our best even when no one is watching, lifting others up, and guiding our peers by setting a good example in everything we do. Look who’s back and more eager than ever! 😍 Classroom doors officially swung open today for SY 2026-2027, and the energy at Isabela West Elementary School is absolutely electric!

The flag ceremony started by the Pambansang Awit ng Pilipinas and was followed by the Children's Prayer by the SELG President Athena Chandria Lasquite. The Division March and NIR hymn was sung by the teachers and pupils, followed by reciting the Panunumpa sa Watawat, DepEd Mission and Vision and Core Values! The teachers pledged the Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gobyerno. The School Principal Mrs. Angelie N. Dela Cruz presented the Effective and Efficient Teachers of Isabela West ES!

The Division of Negros Occidental Representative and The PDO Ms Lea Pauline Senarosa gave also an advise the learners of the school. The Public Schools District Supervisor of Isabela-I Mr. Arnel D. Baricar informed also about AGAPE.

Seeing our young learners line up early, catching up with old friends, and beaming with excitement to meet their new teachers gives us the perfect fuel for a fantastic school year ahead. The hunger to learn is real, and we are completely ready to nurture it!

We are starting our week strong with our Opening Block—focusing on checking in on our learners' wellness, medical updates, and reading/math readiness to ensure no student is left behind as we begin this new journey.

The countdown is over! The Kindergarten classrooms at Isabela West Elementary School are officially clean, bright, and 100% READY to welcome our youngest learners for the opening of classes tomorrow, June 8!

Our dedicated Kindergarten teachers, 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚 and 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐛 have spent the last few weeks pouring their hearts into creating a safe, colorful, and fun environment where your children can grow, play, and learn. From interactive reading corners to creative play zones, everything is set up to give our little ones the best start to their school journey.

Today, June 5, 2026, the Isabela West Elementary School campus was filled with energy, hard work, and community spirit as we welcomed our dedicated partners from Barangay 4 Poblacion!

Headed by the active and supportive Punong Barangay Eduardo Pregua along with the hardworking Barangay Council, our local leaders, tanods, and volunteers rolled up their sleeves to ensure a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming learning environment for our young learners. From repainting classroom walls to clearing outdoor spaces and fixing school facilities, the shared commitment to education was truly inspiring.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Punong Brgy. Pregua, the Barangay 4 Council, and every volunteer who dedicated their time and sweat today. Your unwavering support proves that when a community unites for its children, amazing things happen.
