Every year on June 17, the world observes World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, raising awareness about the importance of protecting land and ensuring sustainable use of natural resources.

Healthy land supports food production, biodiversity, and livelihoods for billions of people. Land degradation and drought can threaten ecosystems, agriculture, and communities around the globe.

By planting trees, conserving water, and promoting sustainable practices, we can all contribute to restoring our environment. Together, let us protect our land today for a greener and more resilient tomorrow.
