DISTRICT ACTION LEARNING CELL | Day 1: Strengthening Preparedness for Learning Continuity

September 10, 2026 — The first day of the District Action Learning Cell (DLAC) on Curriculum Planning, Assessment, and Learning Continuity in Emergencies was successfully conducted at Badjao Floating Integrated School for the teachers of Island District II.

Led by the guidance and support of Public Schools District Supervisor Julakmad I. Mohammad, the activity brought together school leaders and teachers to strengthen their knowledge and preparedness in curriculum planning, assessment, and ensuring learning continuity, particularly in preparation for the incoming Term 2.

The activity was also supported by the school leaders of Island District II, including Sir Ajid J. Milgaril, Ed.D., Principal I of Badjao Floating Integrated School; Ma’am Hadija U. Hamad, Assistant School Head of BFIS; Ma’am Ethel M. Gregana, Principal I of Panigayan Integrated School; Sir Phil Argel Quitiol, Principal I of Lampinigan National High School; Sir Moumar Halillulah, Principal I of Lampinigan Elementary School; Ma’am Olympia Milgaril, Principal I of Lukbuton Elementary School; and Ma’am Fritzie Delos Santos, Principal I of Marang-Marang Elementary School.

Through this collaborative learning engagement, Island District II continues to empower teachers and strengthen their capacity to provide quality, responsive, and uninterrupted learning for every learner, even in times of emergencies.
