𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 | VSU Isabel Records 100% Passing Rate Among First-Time Takers in August 2026 MELE

Two graduates successfully passed the August 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (MELE), giving VSU Isabel a 100% passing rate among its first-time takers. The university recorded an overall passing rate of 28.57%.

Congratulations to our new Mechanical Engineers! The VSU Isabel community celebrates this achievement with you.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗩𝗦𝗨𝗜 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗣 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Faculty and staff of Visayas State University Isabel (VSUI) participated in an orientation on the YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program) on August 12, 2026, at the Quality Assurance Center.

The orientation was facilitated by personnel from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), who discussed the program’s benefits, coverage, and available health services for its members.

The activity supports VSUI’s continuing efforts to promote the health and well-being of its faculty and staff by providing them with information on accessible healthcare programs and services.

📢 TES SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 2026 – IMPORTANT UPDATE

Please be informed that CHED has made changes to the information required for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) application. Because of these changes, all students who have already submitted the previous TES Application Form are required to submit a new application using the updated form.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these adjustments to comply with the updated requirements from CHED.

📌 NEW APPLICATION DEADLINE:
August 13, 2026 – 12:00 PM

❗ IMPORTANT UPDATES

➡️ There is NO NEED to upload your Certificate of Registration (COR) in the updated application form.

➡️ For incoming/new students: Please make sure that you have your Learner Reference Number (LRN) from your high school records ready, as this information will be required in the application.

➡️ For continuing students: You do NOT need to provide your LRN.

📄 Where can you usually find your LRN?

Your LRN can usually be found on your:

--Senior High School or Junior High School Report Card (Form 138)
--Permanent school records
--Other official documents issued by your school during high school.

If you cannot find your LRN, you may contact your previous high school or ask your highschool registrar for assistance.

🔔 For students who already submitted the previous form:
Please submit the updated TES Application Form again. Your previous application will not be used for the updated requirements.

⚠️ Please do not submit another application if you are already a beneficiary of TES, TDP, COSCHO, CHED Merit Scholarship, DOST Scholarship, CHED StuFAPs, or any other government-funded scholarship.
