In view of the ongoing SSC Special Election, the University Student Election Board (USEB)
hereby temporarily suspends the acceptance, processing, approval, and conduct of requests
for Ratification, Amendments, Plebiscites, and Recall proceedings involving student
governing bodies and their governing instruments.
This temporary suspension is intended to allow the USEB to prioritize the orderly, timely, and
impartial conduct of the SSC Special Election and to avoid conflicts, administrative
complications, or delays arising from simultaneous electoral and organizational proceedings.
Accordingly, all requests covered by this Memorandum shall be held in abeyance and shall
not be acted upon during the suspension period, except when necessary by reason of legal
necessity, institutional exigency, or compliance with a superior university rule or directive. This
suspension shall not be construed as a permanent denial of any lawful right to initiate such
proceedings.
The acceptance and processing of such requests shall resume beginning the last week of
September 2026, subject to the SEB Code, applicable university policies, and procedures
prescribed by the USEB. Resumption shall not constitute automatic approval or authorization
to conduct any such proceeding.
This Memorandum shall take effect immediately upon issuance and remain in force until the
last week of September 2026, unless earlier modified, extended, or superseded by the USEB.
