The Senior High School Department of Gabao National High School, through the initiative of Jomer O. Ruz, successfully conducted the training titled “Capacitating Student-Researchers and Research Teachers in Quantitative Analysis Aided by Statistical Software” on March 19, 2026, at the SHS Computer Laboratory.

The activity gathered student-researchers and research teachers, providing them with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in quantitative research and the use of statistical software, strengthening their skills in data analysis and research writing.

From classrooms to real-world workplaces, our learners continue to demonstrate that excellence extends beyond academics.

The CSS students successfully completed their 10-day Work Immersion at their respective partner institutions. CSS Batch 1 completed their immersion at SORECO I from January 13 to January 28, 2026, guided by Engr. Edwin F. Garcia and Ma’am Mila N. Gopela (HR Head). Meanwhile, CSS Batch 2 was deployed at the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Irosin from January 13 to January 27, 2026, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Grace Hamor and the supervision of Ma’am Judith O. Baesa, PESO Head. Through their deployment across various departments, students gained hands-on technical experience and supported daily operations.

Our EPAS students also completed their immersion at Tagalog Electronics and Bher Electronics in San Pedro, Irosin. Divided into batches, each student rendered 80 hours of training, developing essential skills in assembling and repairing electronic devices, proper tool handling, safety practices and teamwork.

The FBS students completed their immersion from December 9, 2025 to February 15, 2026, in partnership with Sayong Grill and Caldera Café. Across three batches, students rendered their required hours while gaining valuable experience in food service, customer relations and workplace professionalism.

In addition, our Tailoring students (Dressmaking) also successfully completed their work immersion, where they enhanced their skills in garment construction, sewing techniques, fabric handling and design application—equipping them with industry-ready competencies and creativity.

These strong partnerships with LGU Irosin, SORECO I, local electronics shops and tailoring and food industry partners continue to provide meaningful opportunities for learners to grow and prepare for their future careers.

Indeed, work immersion is not just a requirement—it is a transformative journey that builds skills, confidence, and character.
