Dear Parents,

Following the recent PSHS NCE results, a number of parents have reached out about starting preparation early for the January 2027 examination.

In response, STEMulate Learning Point will be opening a limited number of slots for an Early Math Readiness Diagnostic for incoming Grade 6 students.

This diagnostic is designed to help assess a student’s current preparedness in:
- Number sense and foundational skills
- Fractions, ratios, and word problems
- Problem-solving and mathematical reasoning
- Selected Singapore-style heuristic thinking strategies

Each student’s performance will be reviewed, and based on the results, preliminary worksheet recommendations and a suggested learning pathway may be provided prior to the formal review season that will start in September.
Because the diagnostic includes individualized analysis and follow-up recommendations, we will initially keep this intake to a small number of students.

Priority may be given to early registrants for our upcoming PSHS review intake.

NOW OPEN | PISAY NCE 2027 APPLICATIONS

The DOST-Philippine Science High School System (PSHS) is now accepting applications for the National Competitive Examination (NCE) for School Year 2027-2028. If you will be a Grade 6 student for SY 2026-2027 with a strong interest in science and mathematics, this is your opportunity to become a Pisay scholar.

📅 Application Period: April 6 to November 7, 2026
📝 Date of Exam: January 30, 2027

Who can apply?
Eligible applicants must:
✔ Be a Grade 6 student from a DepEd-recognized school (SY 2026-2027)
✔ Have a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics in the Grade 5 report card (SY 2025-2026), or belong to the top 10% of the batch
✔ Be a Filipino citizen
✔ Be 15 years old or below by June 30, 2027
✔ Have at least a satisfactory character rating
✔ Be in good health and fit for a rigorous academic program
✔ Have not previously applied for admission to PSHS

Both online and walk-in applications are accepted.

What to prepare?
📌 Recent 1×1 ID photo
📌 Certified true copy of Grade 5 report card
📌 Certification of Top 10% (if applicable)
📌 Certification of full scholarship (if applicable)
💰 Processing Fee:
• ₱300 (private school students)
• FREE (public school students and full scholars)

📚 Free loan of textbooks
💸 Monthly stipend
👕 Allowances for uniform, transportation, and living expenses (for qualified groups)
