‎It’s hard to put into words the heaviness we’re all feeling right now. Losing our very own Rover Sct. Sebastian Christian Dacuba so suddenly to a motor accident feels like a bad dream we’re waiting to wake up from. But as we look at his empty chair in class or his spot in the scout line, the reality sets in our brother classmate friend is gone.

‎From day one, Sebastian was just... good. There’s no other way to put it. He wasn't trying to be a hero he was just naturally a friend to everyone. To his parents, he was a good son they could be proud of. To us, he was the ultimate "maasahan." In scouting, when things got tough or a task felt too big, Sebastian was the first one to step up without being asked. He didn't just wear the Rover neckerchief he lived out what it meant to be a servant-leader every single day.

‎But what we’re going to miss the most isn't just his help it’s his kakulitan. He had that unique spark that could turn a boring afternoon or a tiring day into something fun. He knew how to make us laugh, how to lighten the mood, and how to be a "kabarkada" to everyone. He was a student, a classmate, and a co-scout, sure but more than those titles, he was a person who genuinely cared the person na a lot of chismis na baon.

‎Sebby Baste?, it hurts that your journey ended this way and this soon. We weren't ready to say goodbye. But thank you for the time you gave us. Thank you for being someone we could always count on. You’ve finished your trek, and you’ve left a trail of kindness for the rest of us to follow. ‎Ride Safe now in heaven, brother. We’ll take it from here, but we’ll never forget you.

The encampment continued with activities that strengthened the Scouts’ skills and character. They participated in a Fire Drill, learning essential safety and emergency procedures, followed by an Outreach Program that allowed them to extend compassion to the community.

On the fourth day, the Scouts engaged in lively Team Building activities, enhancing their communication, cooperation, and unity as they worked together through various challenges. ✨🤝🔥

After the investiture ceremonies, the program continued with insightful sessions, as the BSP and GSP conducted their separate activities to further strengthen the Scouts’ skills and character.

The day concluded with the exciting Search for Mr. and Ms. Eco Scout 2025, where participants showcased confidence, talent, and meaningful environmental advocacies. Each contestant embodied the spirit of an Eco Scout—proving that true leadership is rooted in passion for nature and a commitment to building a better, more sustainable future. 🌎✨

Last November 26, 2025, the spirit of Scouting came alive as we held the Opening Program and Investiture Ceremony for the Joint BSP–GSP Encampment 2025. Scouts and Adult Leaders from various troops came together in unity as we embraced this year’s theme: ‘𝚂𝚎𝚛𝚟𝚒𝚌𝚎, 𝙸𝚗𝚗𝚘𝚟𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚂𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝙰𝚕𝚕.’

From the dignified entrance of colors to the heartfelt messages from our leaders, every moment highlighted the values of leadership, service, and camaraderie that Scouting stands for. The Investiture Ceremony became a proud milestone for our newly invested Rover Scouts as they took their Oath and affirmed their commitment to the ideals of the movement.

A joint project of Student Leaders' Council (SLC) and KPSEP. This project provides an opportunity for all of us to share the great blessings that God has given to us. Sharing the things that can be used by the students of FIFSI MARY HILL is not only just a sharing, it is a way to spread the beautiful smiles, make them feel the love, and the true spirit of Christmas. Therefore, we invite you to participate in the Outreach program and gift giving that will take place on December 10, 2025 at FIFSI Mary hill, San Pedro, Iriga City.
