𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | The University of Northeastern Philippines Baseball Team clinches the baseball championship at the 2025 Regional PRISAA, held this afternoon, March 7, 2025, in Sorsogon City.

Following the intense preparation and rigorous practice, the UNEP Baseball Team dominated the Albay Baseball Team, with a score of 23-4, and continued to climb their way up securing the championship by defeating the Mabini Baseball Team, 8-7.

Meanwhile, the UNEP Softball Team, having no regional competitors, had been concluded as champion and qualified for the National PRISAA together with the UNEP Baseball Team, set to take place in the month of April at Tuguegarao City. via/Deniel Embestro/FRONTLINE

HS representatives win Miss Foundation 2025, Miss University 2025, Mr. Charity, and Mr. Foundation 2nd RU

A crowning achievement was set in history for the High School Department as their four representatives to the 2025 Search for Mr. and Ms. Foundation brought home four crowns last February 23, 2025 at university gymnasium.

Rizzi Karlen Ibanita, Grade 10 student was crowned as Miss Foundation 2025 while Ellaine Demanarig, Grade 12 students was hailed as Miss University 2025. Meanwhile, Albert Ibarrientos, Grade 11 student took the Mr. Charity crown and Nash Achero, Grade 11 student was declared as Second Runner Up.

Along with them, Mr. Eric Capalos II of the Nursing Department won the Mr. Foundation Title, Mr. Kenjoe Kenjoe Soltes of Nursing Department as Mr. University, Ms. Annegela Cruz of College Engineering and Architecture was crowned Ms. Charity, Ms. Abegail Tampoco of Criminology and Mr. Reynan Nuñez of Education was declared First Runners Up, and Ms. Liezl Talagtag of Nursing as Second Runner Up respectively.

The said pageant was one of the highlights of the 77th Founding Anniversary of the University of Northeastern Philippines where it was participated by the different departments in the college including the high school programs of the institution.

With these historical success, the entire high school department is celebrating the big win for this year’s foundation pageant.
