The University of Northeastern Philippines University Library conducted its Library Orientation for freshmen and transferee students for School Year 2026โ€“2027, familiarizing them with the libraryโ€™s resources, services, facilities, and policies.

The orientation covered library card applications, book-borrowing procedures, the use of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), electronic resources, and other essential guidelines. An open forum was also held to provide students with an opportunity to raise questions and clarify library-related concerns.

The activity was facilitated by library personnel Riza P. Namoro and Belen N. Villaluz, with the support of the library staff. Through this initiative, UNEP encourages students to make the library their partner in learning, research, and academic success.

The Office for Planning, Research, Innovation, and Monitoring for Excellence (PRIME) conducted an internal monitoring of the UNEP Grade School Department today, July 27, 2026, as part of the Universityโ€™s continuing quality assurance and institutional improvement initiatives.

The activity involved the review and validation of key academic and administrative records, documentary requirements, and operational practices. Grade School Principal Mr. Romar Belen, MAEd, was personally present throughout the monitoring and provided the PRIME monitoring team with the necessary documents and clarifications.

Through this initiative, UNEP continues to strengthen a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and learner-centered quality education across all academic levels.

The Office for Planning, Research, Innovation, and Monitoring for Excellence (PRIME) conducted an internal audit of the University of Northeastern Philippines High School Department on July 24, 2026. The activity included the review of essential academic and administrative records, instructional processes, learner protection measures, and random classroom observations to validate the actual implementation of institutional and regulatory requirements.

The High School Department was represented by Ms. Karla Marie Daza, Assistant Principal; Mrs. Olympia Manaog, Academic Coordinator; and Ms. Luz Clarita Dacara, Junior High School Coordinator, with the assistance of Mrs. Juvy Calabines, High School Department Secretary. Their cooperation facilitated the orderly presentation of documents, clarification of departmental processes, and discussion of existing practices and areas for continuous improvement.

Through this quality assurance initiative, PRIME continues to support the Universityโ€™s commitment to accountability, evidence-based management, effective instructional delivery, and the provision of a safe and responsive learning environment for every UNEPian learner.

The University of Northeastern Philippines Marching Band and Majorettes proudly represented the University during the โ€œSerenata: Parada ag Concierto Para Ki Sta. Maria Magdalena 2026,โ€ held on July 21, 2026, in the Municipality of Bula, Camarines Sur.

With their synchronized formations, vibrant choreography, and spirited musical performance, the UNEP delegation enlivened both the afternoon Serenata Parade and the evening concert at the Municipal Covered Court. Their participation showcased the talent, discipline, creativity, and school pride of UNEP students before the people of Bula and fellow participating institutions.

The celebration formed part of the highlights of the 448th Bula Town Fiesta in honor of Sta. Maria Magdalena, bringing communities together through music, culture, and shared tradition.

Congratulations to the UNEP Marching Band and Majorettes for carrying the Universityโ€™s name with excellence and distinction!
