The University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) High School Department once again showcased its excellence after emerging as the Champion in the Radio Broadcasting Competition during the UP HARONG 2026 Academic Festival hosted by the University of the Philippines.

Demonstrating excellence in journalism, communication, and academic competitions, the UNEP delegates captured the championship in Radio Broadcasting Production, Best Script, Technical Application, News Presenter, and Best Anchor.

The team also secured 2nd Runner-Up honors in the Essay Writing Competition, while other student representatives advanced as qualifiers and semifinalists in various events, including Poster Making, Public Speaking, and Quiz Bee.

The remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and outstanding talents of the students, as well as the unwavering guidance and commitment of their coaches, mentors, and the entire UNEP High School community.

This milestone further strengthens UNEP High School’s commitment to developing globally competitive learners who excel not only in academics but also in leadership, communication, and critical thinking.

Congratulations to our UP HARONG 2026 contestants, coaches, and supporters! Your success is a testament that excellence is achieved through passion, perseverance, and teamwork.

Pasinaya sa Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 🇵🇭

Sa pagsisimula ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, buong pagmamalaking nakiisa ang mga mag-aaral at g**o ng UNEP High School Department sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng mga maka-Pilipinong kasuotan, isang makulay na pagpapakita ng ating pagmamahal, pagpapahalaga, at paggalang sa ating wikang pambansa at mayamang kulturang Pilipino.

Ang bawat kasuotan ay sumasalamin sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang isang lahi at nagpapaalala na ang wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang instrumento ng komunikasyon, kundi puso ng ating kasaysayan, kultura, at pagkakaisa.

Wikang Filipino—wika ng pagkakaisa, wika ng pagmamalaki, wika ng bawat Pilipino.

𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Grade 7 UNEP student, Iralen Galit, showcased determination and skill at the Philippine Aquatics Inc. Swimming Competition 2026, held on July 25–26 at Naga College Foundation, earning multiple podium finishes across a variety of events.

Galit delivered an impressive performance throughout the two-day competition, demonstrating consistency in both individual medley and stroke events.

On the first day, July 25, the swimmer notched gold medals in the 200-meter Individual Medley and 100-meter Breaststroke, highlighting her strength and versatility in the pool. She also secured a silver medal in the 100-meter Butterfly and finished 5th in the 50-meter Backstroke.

She continued her strong performance on the second day, July 26, by earning silver medals in the 100-meter Freestyle and 200-meter Breaststroke. She also placed 5th in both the 50-meter Butterfly and 100-meter Backstroke, completing a successful campaign across eight events.

Galit's accomplishments reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment to demonstrate the qualities of a young athlete with a bright future ahead and to nurture her skills while representing the university with pride.

The school community extends its warmest congratulations to Galit for her outstanding achievements at the PAI Swimming Competition 2026.
