The Coronation of the King & Queen of Hearts 2026 and the Induction Ceremony of the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) was successfully held on February 27, 2026 at the Sta. Maria Covered Court, Sta. Maria, Iriga City. The event gathered parents, teachers, learners, and community members in a meaningful celebration of unity and support for the school.

A total of 26 candidates representing different grade levels who generously participated to support the school’s programs and projects. The coronation highlighted the spirit of cooperation among parents, teachers, learners, and the community.

The program also featured the formal induction of the newly elected SPTA officers, inspiring messages from school and local officials, Hon. Melnan R. Murallo- Asanza, and special presentations that made the event meaningful and memorable.
Through the collective efforts and support of everyone involved, the activity became a successful celebration of unity, generosity, and commitment to the school community. 👑❤️

BFP FIRE SQUARE ROADSHOW 🔥

Naganap ang BFP Fire Square Roadshow bilang bahagi ng Fire Prevention Month. Natutunan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o ang tamang hakbang sa pag-iwas at pagtugon sa sunog sa pamamagitan ng interactive activities at demo mula sa mga fire officers.

Maraming salamat sa Bureau of Fire Protection Iriga sa kanilang dedikasyon sa kaligtasan ng komunidad! ☺️

Cawayan Elementary School successfully underwent the Iriga Plus Program Validation Year 3 for Grade 3 learners, focusing on the assessment of learners’ literacy and numeracy skills. This initiative reinforces the school’s commitment to strengthening foundational skills and ensuring continuous school improvement.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed validators, Dr. Claudia Marilou S. Marpuri, Dr. Sahlee B. Cerillo, and Ma’am Shena A. Ampongan, for their valuable feedback and thorough monitoring. Their recommendations significantly contribute to enhancing instructional delivery and improving learners’ academic performance.

Likewise, we acknowledge the dedicated efforts of the Grade 3 advisers, Ma’am Janine T. Ibarreta and Ma’am Toni Vennesa B. No, as well as the School Principal, Dr. Benjie L. Orbon and teachers, for their collaborative support in making this activity successful.

✨ First Holy Communion 2026 ✨

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we celebrate the 1st Holy Communion of our Grade 3 learners today, February 18, 2026. This sacred milestone marks a beautiful step in their faith journey as they receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist for the first time. 🙏🤍

Our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Erwin O. Obias, Parish Priest of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Sta. Teresita, Iriga City, for officiating this meaningful celebration.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the loving parents of our communicants for their unwavering support and for nurturing the faith of their children.

Special thanks to our dedicated Catechist, Mrs. Lourei Oblino, whose guidance and teachings helped prepare our learners spiritually for this blessed sacrament.

We are equally grateful to the Class Advisers, Ma’am Toni B. No and Ma’am Janine T. Ibarreta, and to our School Principal, Dr. Benjie L. Orbon, for their leadership, support, and commitment in making this celebration meaningful and memorable.
