A Conversation That Protects Tomorrow: Mrs. Sharon L. Tud Leads Child Protection Policy and Early Pregnancy Awareness Seminar
“What if one conversation today could protect a child's tomorrow?”
In line with its commitment to fostering a safe, informed, and responsible school community, Mother Theresa Colegio de Iriga conducted a Child Protection Policy and Early Pregnancy Awareness Seminar for its Mathesians and teachers. The meaningful discussion was led by Mrs. Sharon L. Tud, who shared her knowledge and insights on important issues affecting today’s youth.
The seminar highlighted the importance of understanding children’s rights, promoting personal safety, and encouraging learners to make informed and responsible decisions. Through awareness and education, participants were empowered with valuable knowledge that can help them create a future built on respect, responsibility, and protection.
More than just a discussion, the seminar served as a reminder that every conversation, lesson, and shared experience can contribute to creating a safer environment where young individuals feel protected, respected, and guided.
The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Sharon L. Tud for dedicating her time and expertise to educate the MTC community. Her commitment to raising awareness and guiding the youth plays a significant role in helping Mathesians become more mindful of their choices and more prepared to protect themselves and others.
Together, through continuous learning and awareness, MTC remains dedicated to building a community where every learner is valued, supported, and protected.

"Nak bukas pala mayroon tayong seminar need mag~
SSG- 1.. 2..3.. GO! KANYA-KANYA NA 'TO!" 🏃♀️💨
🎬 Cue the dramatic intro of Tala by Sarah G!!. 💃😭
Mission Accepted: Welcome Mode Activated. ‼️
The SSG has officially entered full-on chaos mode! One's sweeping, another's carrying chairs like it's a relay race, someone's climbing just to hang decorations, while another is yelling, "ITO NA BA 'YUNG THUMBTACKS?!" 😭 Meanwhile, someone has already disappeared for "one minute"... and somehow hasn't returned yet. 💀
It's giving "cram now, celebrate later" energy. The panic is loud, but the group chat is obviously even louder, and somehow everyone suddenly becomes an interior designer, event coordinator, electrician, and logistics team all at once. 😭😆
But here's the plot twist! despite all the rushing, last-minute adjustments, and random "TEKA LANG!" moments, guess who's still laughing through the chaos?
SSG buddy.💜
It may look like organized chaos, but behind all the running, laughter, and "rush mission" moments is one goal, to give everyone the warmest welcome possible.

Guided by their dedicated coach, Ma'am Angeline Bagacina, our Home Economics students transformed simple ingredients into delicious works of art!
Each sandwich they created was more than just a meal, it was a masterpiece, carefully crafted with creativity, precision, and passion. Every layer, color, and garnish reflected their dedication to excellence, turning ordinary ingredients into visually stunning and mouthwatering creations. Through this activity, our HE students also showcased their presentation skills, teamwork, and commitment to proper food preparation and sanitation, proving that great food is not only made to be enjoyed but also beautifully presented.

When disaster strikes, courage alone is not enough, preparedness is what saves lives.
The Resiliency Road Exhibition challenged our students to step beyond the classroom and into real-life action. From performing CPR and first aid to learning fire safety, emergency preparedness, and disaster response, every station became an opportunity to train, respond, and lead when every second matters.
More than gaining knowledge, our students developed the courage, discipline, and readiness to face emergencies with confidence. Because resilience is not built during disasters, it is built long before they happen.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this empowering experience possible. Together, we are creating a community that is informed, prepared, and ready to act.
Disasters don't wait for us to be ready so we must be ready before they come

As the morning sun welcomed a new day, the MTC community came together as one family to celebrate the Holy Mass—a beautiful reminder that every journey begins with God. Before stepping into our classrooms, facing new lessons, and embracing today's challenges, we first knelt in prayer, allowing our hearts to be renewed with hope, wisdom, and strength.
Today's celebration was more than a tradition—it was a call for every Mathesians to live out our faith through compassion, humility, integrity, and service. May the blessings we received inspire us to uplift one another, choose kindness in every encounter, and strive for excellence not only in academics but also in the values we embody every day. Let us carry the light of Christ wherever we go, becoming instruments of peace, unity, and love within our school and beyond.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the St. Jude Thaddeus Community for making this meaningful celebration possible.
