The Laih-Batu National High School Alumni Association extends its deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family during this time of sorrow.

As a retired master teacher, Ma’am Rhoda devoted her life to public service, touching countless hearts with her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication. As an alumna of Isidro Miranda National High School now Laih- Batu NHS, she carried with her the values and ideals of our institution, inspiring many through her integrity, kindness, and passion.

She exemplified the true spirit of an alumna, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and love that will forever resonate within our school and community.

May her soul find eternal rest in God’s loving embrace, and may her memory remain a lasting source of strength, inspiration, and hope to all who knew her.

On the third day of snack distribution for our street dancers, artists, instrumentalists, and all individuals involved in the performance during the final rehearsal, the spirit of unity and support remained strong. This initiative was made possible through the generosity of the Alumni Association, whose continued support keeps our performers energized and motivated. The activity was graced by the presence of Vice Mayor Gerald “Jet” Acosta, PSDS Dr. Hope R. Acuesta, Engr. Herminigildo Acuesta, Dr. Alvicer Santillan, Barangay Captain Jean B. Enopia, and the barangay officials of Laih and Batu, alongside parents and stakeholders.

The school also recognizes the dedication of the production team for their invaluable behind-the-scenes efforts in ensuring the success of the performance. Sincere appreciation is extended to Principal Lirio R. Labrador, the faculty, and staff for their guidance and teamwork, as well as to Municipal Mayor Julius M. Acosta Jr. for his continued unwavering support as we move confidently toward the grand performance.

A heartfelt thank you to the Alumni Association for your generous support and unwavering commitment. Your kindness keeps our dancers energized and inspired as they continue to give their best. Truly, this spirit of bayanihan makes every step more meaningful.

Together for our dancers | Alumni, parents, and stakeholders stand united, working hand in hand to provide a sumptuous evening snack for our beloved street dancers from Laih‑Batu National High School and neighboring barangays. Their generous support reflects the unwavering commitment of the alumni network, whose continuous assistance helps uplift school programs and boost the morale of the performers as they represent the community with pride.

This collective effort comes as the school and the entire municipality of Siay actively take part in the 25th Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay celebration. The Street Dance Competition and Final Showdown will take place on February 24, 2026, at the Ipil Sports Complex, where the dancers will showcase not only their talent but also the strong spirit of community made possible through the heartfelt support of the alumni and partners.

Through our collective efforts in fundraising—donations, registration, cluster candidates, batch pledges, and ticket sales—we were able to raise an incredible amount of ₱165,000.00 .
This amount is more than just a donation; it is a powerful symbol of love, commitment, and pride for our alma mater. Because of you, Phase 1 of the LBNHS Covered Court is now one step closer to becoming a reality—an enduring legacy that will benefit present and future generations of students.
