Each year, College Knights of Columbus from across the US and Canada, gather for the College Councils Conference to be renewed in faith, brotherhood, and mission. Held at the birthplace of the Order and the tomb of Blessed Michael McGivney, the conference brings together young men committed to living their Catholic faith through charity, service, and leadership. Participants are formed by Supreme officers and inspired through shared fellowship with fellow college Knights who face the same challenges—and opportunities—on campus today. The images below are more than numbers. They are ordained priests, future priests, deacons, and theologians, they are courageous men formed, educated, and strengthened through the scholarship program of the Knights of Columbus Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc.

Many still see the Knights if Columbus as a “normal” Catholic lay group. But the truth is far deeper, and far more beautiful. We do not exist for ourselves. We exist for the Church. And when the Church needs shepherds, we help form them.

Across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, these scholars represent a commitment few lay organizations can match: a direct, tangible, life-changing investment in the future of the priesthood. Not mere words. Not symbolism. Actual formation. Actual support. Actual mission.

For those who once doubted the value of the Knights, or questioned our relevance - We proudly say, let the fruits speak.

Every ordained priest, every theology graduate, every licentiate scholar here becomes a beacon of hope for parishes, families, and communities. And behind each one stands a brotherhood quietly working, giving, and sacrificing so their vocation may flourish.

This is what it means to be a Knight.
Not prestige. Not privilege. But service that outlives us.

May these scholars remind us that the Church grows when the laity and clergy walk as one, and may more people come to see that in the Knights of Columbus, that unity is not an aspiration. It is our tradition. Our heritage. Our duty. Vivat Jesus!!

This news weighs heavily upon us. FDD Doc Wilson’s passing is not merely the end of a wonderful chapter but a solemn reminder of a life spent in service of the Order who is quiet, steadfast, and anchored in faith. While commendable efforts were made to bring him back, the Lord has seen fit to welcome him to our grand destination one day we all be calling - home.

As we all offer our sincere condolences to his bereaved family, who now bear the first burden of this loss. May the sincerity and intensity of our prayers accompany them, and may the mercy of God grant FDD Doc Wilson the eternal rest promised to those who served Him with utmost fidelity and impact.

In moments like this, we are called to stand together, not only to mourn, but to honor the good he planted in our Order. May we remember FDD Doc Wilson with gratitude, and may his witness strengthen our own commitment to charity, unity, and fraternity.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen! 🙏 FDD Doc Wilson, rest in peace.
