Initao College proudly participated in the National Teacher Education Quizbee (NTEQ), hosted by Carl Balita, held at Universidad de Manila, with participation conducted online through Carl Balita Review Center. The event gathered universities and colleges from across the Philippines, showcasing excellence in teacher education.

Representing Initao College was Jeffrey Jerome A. Beñola, a 4th Year student, who demonstrated commendable knowledge, confidence, and determination throughout the competition.

In the Easy Round, Initao College was recognized as part of the Top 10 performers, marking a strong early performance against a wide pool of competitors nationwide.

Among the competing institutions in the cluster, Initao College proudly secured 4th Place in the Carl Balita Review Center Cagayan de Oro ranking, an achievement that reflects the institution’s growing academic competitiveness and dedication to excellence.

Although the institution narrowly missed qualification for the national level, this remarkable performance stands as a proud milestone for Initao College.

In recognition of his outstanding effort, Mr. Beñola was also awarded a full scholarship from Carl Balita Review Center.

Among 60 participants representing colleges across Mindanao and the Visayas, gathered at the Grand Cap Auditorium in Davao City, Initao College was ably represented by:

1. Dante D. B**go (4th Year Education student)
2. August Denver C. Cruz (4th Year Education student)
3. Micha Elijah S. Hamo (3rd Year Education student)

Competing on a highly competitive regional stage, they exemplified discipline, composure, and academic preparedness.

In recognition of their performance and potential, all three participants were awarded full scholarships by Falculan Twin’s Review Center (FTRC).

✨ Sidlak Panukiduki 2025 Highlights Research Excellence Across Misamis Oriental

The first-ever District 2 Research Festival successfully gathered faculty, students, and research enthusiasts at Initao College last October 30 to showcase innovative studies and strengthen academic collaboration.

With the theme “Innovative Research at Work: Advancing Education, Entrepreneurship, and Governance,” the event featured plenary talks from Dr. Sonnie A. Vedra (MSU-Naawan) and Engr. Alex L. Maureal (USTP), alongside a symbolic MOU signing among District 2 colleges to promote stronger institutional partnerships.

A huge thank you to our participating institutions:
