OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF NORTHERN QUEZON COLLEGE, INC. REGARDING THE ISSUES ANNOUNCED IN A RADIO PROGRAM
To parents, students, organizations, individuals, and local governments who continue to support our scholars and the entire NQCI community.
We are extremely grateful for the trust and support you give to our school. We understand that you do not believe the misinformation, derogatory statements, and irresponsible comments put out by a radio commentator, which on many occasions have been proven to use lies and inappropriate speech. We would also like to express our disappointment that a programme like this is allowed to continue.
However, the leadership of NQCI deserves to clarify some issues expressed in the said program so as to avoid further confusion and to show the truth based on document, law, and existing agreements.
FIRST: CHEd does not give accreditation to the BS Criminology program of NQCI that's why the admission of the students seems to be ignored.
SECOND: NQCI has not been able to pay rent on NQCC-owned land, and no new contracts have been formed by the two parties.
THIRD: BOTH PARTIES are terminatedโNORTHERN QUEZON COOPERATIVE COLLEGE AND NORTHERN QUEZON COLLEGE, INC. โthe lease contract.
FOURTH: It's been three months that NQCI hasn't paid rent to NQCC, which is from September to October and November.
FIFTH: Where does the NQCI bring the tuition fees of the students as well as the educational assistance and it takes six to seven months to pay.
SIXTH: It is not easy to get accreditation again from CHEd because of changing the address of NQCI in case it finds a new location.
We will no longer ignore other deceitful and unjust statements of this radio commentator including the uniform issue, which clearly aims to undermine the NQCI and cover up the NQCC's own shortcomings. It's not our limit to tarnish the name of NQCC just to raise the name of N QCI especially to those who are not part of such discussions.
May the Great Creator guide us to bring justice, and may we remain united for the betterment of our students and communities. You can all count on NQCI workers to continue to work hard to continue to provide quality, open to all, and affordable education. You are the living witnesses of the smooth and continuous development that happened and is happening in NQCI. No vulgar words can debunk the blatant truth of NQCI's success as seen with our eyes wide open.
May our mighty God continue to shower His blessings upon NQCI and every member of its community. May His divine hand guide us as we stand for truth and justice against those who attempt to harm the reputation of an institution devoted to offering quality, accessible, and affordable education.
Thank you very much.
