Catholic Education Week is a time to honor the mission of our schools: forming minds and hearts in faith, wisdom, and service. It reminds us of the dedication of teachers, administrators, families, and students who walk together in truth and hope.

In this spirit, the Diocese of Imus invites all communities to unite in prayer.

May this prayer strengthen our mission, inspire collaboration, and guide us to live as witnesses of Christ in faith, hope, and love.

The Diocese of Imus, united with the Church and Catholic educational institutions nationwide, celebrates Catholic Education Week 2026, from January 26 to 31, in honor of the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, Patron of Catholic Education.

With the theme “Drawing New Maps of Hope: ‘Educational Constellations’ in Our Times,” the Diocese renews the mission of Catholic education: to form young people in truth, wisdom, and virtue—preparing them to be intellectually competent, morally upright, spiritually grounded, and socially responsible.

Through the Diocese of Imus Catholic Educational System, Inc. (DICES), the Diocese of Imus affirms its commitment to walk in unity, strengthen bonds of faith, and chart new maps of hope—calling Catholic schools and communities to witness peace, uphold integrity, and live the fullness of faith.

IN PHOTOS: Elementary student-athletes joined the DICES Sports for Peace held last January 9 and 10, 2026, at Saint Augustine School, Tanza. The activity gave young learners the opportunity to participate in friendly games that promote cooperation, respect, and joy in active participation.

Anchored on Catholic teachings, the event helped instill the values of peace, sharing, and respect for others at an early age. Through simple acts of sportsmanship, our learners were guided to grow not only as athletes, but as children of God.

Rooted in Catholic values, the event became a reminder that peace begins in the heart and is expressed through actions of fairness, patience, and kindness. Through sports, our learners were able to strengthen not only their skills but also their faith and character.

Guided by faith, our learners were reminded that sports can be a way to live out Christian values, fostering peace, unity, and sense of community among schools. Through every game and shared moment, they reflected the call to serve God and others with humility and compassion.

Join us at Saint Augustine School–Annex Building from January 5 to 10 as our schools celebrate peace through sports and unity in spirit.

Athletes from every DICES member school will take part in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, scrabble, chess, and dance sports, representing their schools with pride as they show discipline in play, build friendship in every encounter, and proclaim peace in every victory.
