BATO-BATO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STRENGTHENS SAFETY READINESS THROUGH THE NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL 2026

Yesterday, Bato-Bato Elementary School actively participated in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill, reinforcing preparedness, proper evacuation procedures, and essential safety actions in a safe, organized, and controlled environment.

Through this initiative, the school continues to uphold its commitment to the safety, awareness, and well-being of every learner, and teacher. All activities were conducted with proper guidance, ensuring a trauma-free and meaningful learning experience.

Isang makulay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang " Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa pananaliksik at tulay sa yaman ng impormasyon" na isinagawa sa Mababang Paaralan ng Bato-Bato.

Ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang husay at pagkamalikhain sa AI Photo Edit, Paligsahan sa Pagsabay ng Labi sa Awit, at Pagpili ng Pinakamagagandang Kasuutan.

Kasabay nito, pormal na nanumpa at tinanggap ng mga bagong SELG at YES-O Officers ang kanilang mga tungkulin bilang mga batang lider na inaasahang magiging huwaran sa paaralan at katuwang sa pagpapaunlad ng kapaligiran at kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral.

Bato‑Bato Elementary School successfully held its regular earthquake and fire safety drill, reinforcing disaster preparedness among learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Guided by the school’s safety committee, the activity followed the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” protocol. At the alarm signal, pupils immediately dropped to the ground, took cover under sturdy desks, and held on until the shaking stopped. They then calmly and orderly evacuated to the designated open assembly area, where attendance was quickly checked to ensure everyone was accounted for.

Teachers demonstrated clear leadership, assisting younger learners and monitoring the whole process to avoid panic. The drill also included a brief orientation on what to do before, during, and after an earthquake, emphasizing the importance of staying calm and following instructions.

This activity is part of the school’s commitment to DepEd’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) program, making safety a habit and ensuring every child knows how to protect themselves in times of emergency.
