🚨 SCHOOL SAFETY AWARENESS: LET US BE PREPARED, NOT PANICKED

Another shooting incident reportedly happened recently at Tacloban City, this time at Ateneo de Zamboanga University. This is a painful reminder that school safety and emergency preparedness should always be taken seriously.

📢 We are sharing this localized shooting drill to help our schools prepare.

Let us encourage our teachers, learners, school personnel, and parents to be familiar with appropriate emergency procedures and to know what to do during a critical situation.

The goal of conducting drills is not to create fear, but to build awareness, preparedness, calmness, and confidence in responding to emergencies.

Rain couldn't stop our dedicated School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) members yesterday morning, August 6.
Driven by a shared commitment to the health, safety, and orderliness of Palico Elementary School, our proactive parents helped to clean and restore the school's trash area. Despite the gloomy weather, their bayanihan spirit shone bright to ensure a cleaner and safer environment for all our learners.
A heartfelt thank you to all the SPTA officers, parents, and volunteers who spent their morning making a difference. Your hard work and dedication truly inspire us all! ***

𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐎 🌧️

Dahil sa biglaang paglala ng lagay ng panahon, ipinapatupad ang half-day suspension of classes ngayong araw, Agosto 5, 2026, sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Lungsod ng Imus.

Humihingi po kami ng paumanhin sa pagkaantala ng anunsyo. Ang desisyon ay ginawa matapos ang agarang pagsusuri sa kasalukuyang sitwasyon, upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at school personnel.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na makipag-ugnayan sa kani-kanilang paaralan para sa maayos at ligtas na dismissal ng mga mag-aaral.

Medyo late ang announcement, pero hindi dapat ma-late ang pag-iingat. Ingat sa pag-uwi, mga Imuseño. ☔

𝙿𝚁𝙸𝙾𝚁𝙸𝚃𝙸𝚉𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙻𝙴𝙰𝚁𝙽𝙴𝚁 𝚂𝙰𝙵𝙴𝚃𝚈: 𝙿𝙰𝙻𝙸𝙲𝙾 𝙴𝚂 𝚂𝙿𝚃𝙰 𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚗𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚜 𝙴𝚖𝚎𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚢 𝙶𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚓𝚎𝚌𝚝

To ensure the safety and preparedness of our learners and staff, the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) of Palico Elementary School headed by President Queennie Z. Marallag has officially initiated the Emergency Gate Project.

Following a thorough site assessment on July 8 that highlighted the need for an additional egress point, a proposal for a 7x7 ft emergency gate at the back of the school campus was presented to the School Principal, Sir Angelo A. Unay. After productive consultative meetings with Sir Angelo, SPTA officers, and HRPTA officers to align on plans and implementation, construction officially commenced on July 15. This project aims to provide a swift, reliable evacuation route during unforeseen emergencies, reflecting the strong partnership between our school administration, parent leaders, and the entire community in building a safer learning environment for everyone. ***
