Makati Kodomo Garden～Nihongo de asobo～

We have a Japanese language class for mainly Japino kids, from 3 y-o to 9 y-o, in Makati every Sunday morning, 10 a.m. ～ 12 noon. Tomorrow, on August 12, we have our class. If you want your child to learn Japanese, please come here tomorrow.

Class fee is 200 pesos per one kid.

【JLPT in December 2018】

●Application Procedure●
Please be advised that the application procedure has changed – since the 2017 July JLPT, for applicants for Manila and Cebu. For the 2018 December 2 JLPT, the online application covers Manila, Cebu and Davao. The paper type of application form has been cancelled and the procedure is divided into two steps as explained below.

【Step 1: ONLINE REGISTRATION】
APPLICANTS MUST REGISTER ONLINE from July 25, 2018 to August 29, 2018.

【Step 2: PAYMENT】

Pay the corresponding registration fee and submit two (2) recent ID size photos (1inch x 1inch) to The Japan Foundation, Manila (JFM) – for applicants in Metro Manila / Luzon or to the Japanese Association Cebu, Inc. – for applicants in Cebu / Visayas and to the Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku (MKD, Davao City) between ●September 7 and 13 for individuals● and either on ●September 14, 17 or 18● for Group / Monday to Friday (10:00 am – 12:00 noon / 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm), to complete the Application Procedure.

*Applicants will only be officially registered for the 2018 December 2 JLPT after submitting the corresponding payment and (2pcs) I.D. size photos during the payment period.

**Only applicants who have registered online will be accommodated during the payment period.

***In case the applicant is unable to come personally during the payment period, the applicant may have a duly designated representative to complete the registration process

Test Date: December 2, Sunday
Time and Location: Exact details will be printed on the Test Voucher.

It will commence simultaneously at 1:00 PM in three test sites:

もっと日本語力を高めたいと思っているフィリピン人の日本語教師の方へ（日本人も可）

I hear that the one - to - one lesson by Japanese teacher is 1,200 pesos per 50 minutes. It is terrible... ! There are not the Nihongo teacher mostly here in the Philippines superior to me. It is a fact. I demand only following tuition. Please come to have my lesson here in Imus Nihongo Gakuen. You will certainly accomplish great progress.
先日、ある冊子の広告で次のような文言を見ました。「日本人の日本語教師による1対1の個人指導ー50分1200ペソ」びっくりです。おそらく今フィリピンでわたしより日本語能力・知識・経験等を併せた総合的日本語力で勝る日本語教師、特に日本語に関する高度な知識を必要とされる指導において、わたし以上の方はほとんどいないはずです。イムスにほんご学園でわたしの個人指導を受ければ、大きな進歩を達成できることを確約します。

Tuition is 100 pesos per 1 hour and the transportation expenses are 100 pesos ( Metro Manila ).
指導料金は1時間につき100ペソです。メトロマニラまで出張指導する際には交通費として100ペソいただきます。

不思議なのは、これを投稿した後、希望者はおろか問い合わせをする人もいないこと。フィリピン人の日本語教師に向上心がある人はいないのかねえ。

（付記）というようなことを書いたのは、先日ある広告を日本人向け無料情報冊子で見たからです。マニラ、いやマカティだったかにあるらしい日本語学校のコマーシャルスペースの一画にこんなことが書かれていました。
「日本人によるマンツーマンの日本語指導ー50分1,200ペソ」
は？何でこんな金額が出てくるんだろ？自分で言うのもなんですが、どう考えても、わたしより日本語能力も、日本語に関する知識も、教科指導力も劣る教師なのは間違いないんですがねえ。優れた人たちがフィリピンに来ている可能性は、国際交流基金などの場合を除いてまずありませんって。でもまあ、そんなことはみんな知らないよなあ......。

JRP Imus Nihongo Gakuen（イムスにほんご学園）

It is a Japanese classroom for those who hope to learn Japanese at very cheap tuition in the vicinity of Metro Manila. Our classroom is located in Imus City, Cavite. It has a wide range of student recruitment from the person who does not understand Japanese at all to the person who wants to learn advanced Japanese. It open for those who hope to learn Japanese seriously. Our classroom is near Robinson Place of Imus. We open our class everyday and respond to the consultation about the timezone, class times, and so on. The tuition is 100 pesos per one hour all. 5歳以上9歳以下の子どもたちが日本語に触れられる空間を作ってみませんか。

わたし（松崎）は先月から、5歳、7歳の子どもに日本語を教えることを頼まれまして、今、格闘中といったところです。というのは、フィリピンで暮らしていくには日本語を覚える必要性がないため、子どもたちは関心を持てず、結果的になかなか集中することができないという現実があるからです。（その子たちが日本で暮らすという予定はありません。）日本人のお父さんもいろいろと努力されたようですが、仕事も忙しく、なかなか家庭で日本語を教えていくことが難しいようです。奥さんとも英語の会話ができれば日々の暮らしには支障がないということも日本語環境が作りにくい要因になっています。
しかしやはり日本人（子どもの国籍は日本）として日本語が話せないのはどうか、さらにフィリピンで日本語を話せることの優位性ということもあわせて考慮された上での依頼となったわけです。以後実際にやっていき、そのお父さんとの雑談中、同じような悩みを持つフィリピン在住日本人は多いのではないかという話になりました。そして、子どもが日本語に慣れ親しむには、同じ年齢の子どもたちと日本語で話すような場があれば興味関心も増して、今後自ら学ぶ姿勢も養われるのではないかという話になりました。
そこで、下記のような形でその空間作りをしたいと考えました。まだまだ企画途中の段階ですが、ご協力いただける方がいらっしゃいましたら、コメントまたはメッセージをお願いします。

１．目的；子どもたちが日本語で話す機会をつくり、彼らの日本語への興味関心を高めること。

基本的には聞く・話すを中心にして、絵本を使っての言葉の学習や、ゲーム等での遊びを通して日本語に接しさせることができればと考えています。

２．対象；5歳以上９歳以下で、日本への帰国を考えていないフィリピン在住の日本国籍の子ども。

場合によっては日本国籍ではない子どもや、両親ともにフィリピン人であっても対象としたいと思います。

３．期間・時間帯等；4月中旬から5月中旬までの可能な日々で、可能な時間帯。

ひじょうにあいまいですが、どういうことか説明します。フィリピンでは子どもたちは4月から夏休みに入ります。ということは1日中暇になるわけです。なにもすることがないのなら、できる限り日本語に接する時間を長くしてやりたいというのが、上記の意味あいです。このことについては、参加を希望される方たちと話し合って煮詰めていきたいと考えています。

４．場所；マニラ市。マカティ市・パサイ市のいずれか。

これについても他の協力者の方たちと検討していきたいと考えています。要は、借りられるスペース探しをしなければならないということです。毎日開くのか、週3回開くのか、週1回開くのかなどによって借りる方法等も変わってくるでしょう。また、5月中旬以降はどうするのかいうことも関連してきます。

５．指導者；わたし（松崎）ほか数名の協力者

わたしは何をどのようにやるかということについては道筋を立てられると思います。ただ、一人では難しいですし、子どもに接するのに慣れている人が必要です。子どもの親御さんか、あるいは誰か別に頼むか、 これも検討事項です。

６．費用；３・４・５の結果による。

とまあ、実のところ、なにもかもこれからということなのですが、いろいろ一緒に考えてくださる方が現れることを期待しております。ご連絡をお待ちしております。

追記；3月下旬にはご協力いただける方々と会合を持ちたいと考えています。
