Para sa mga nagtatanong kung MERON PA BANG SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL SA PASUKAN, ito ang sagot.

Sa mga nagtatanong kung tuluyan nang aalisin ang Senior High School (Grade 11 at 12) sa SY 2025-2026, ang sagot sa tanong na ito ay: HINDI.

Sa Strengthened SHS Program, inalis na ang mga strands (HUMSS, STEM, ABM, AFA, at iba pa). DALAWA na lang ang natitira: ACADEMIC at TVL na lang ang pagpipilian.

Kaya kung ang anak mo ay nangangarap ng STEM, sabihin mo sa kanya na sa bagong curriculum ay wala nang strand, track na ang pipiliin. Sabihin mo sa kanya na huwag na siyang pumunta sa mga malalayong paaralan kung saan ang malapit ay doon na siya mag-aral dahil masasayang lang ang iyong gastos at pagod dahil pareho lang din ang ituturo doon sa ibang mga paaralan.

Sa academic, naroon na pinagsama ang HUMSS, ABM at STEM. Ang sa TVL naroon na ang lahat ng mga strands sa ilalim ng TVL tulad ng Agriculture (AFA), Beauty Care, Food Processing, SMAW, at iba pa.

Sa ilalim ng bagong curriculum na ito, ang mga subjects ay pinangkat sa tatlo:

Core Subjects
Academics (Electives)
TechPro (TVL) (Electives)
Ang dating Applied at Specialized subjects ay tatawagin nang elective subjects.

Ang Strengthened SHS program ay may mga sumusunod na benepisyo:

BABAWASAN ang subjects (core subjects) mula sa 17 ay gagawin na lang 5. Ang ibig sabihin ng core subjects ay kahit ano ang iyong strand sa dati pang curriculum ng SHS na ABM, HUMSS, Beautycare at Agri ay may pare-pareho kayong subjects tulad ng EAPP, UCSP, General Mathematics. Babawasan ito dahil nagdodoble ang subjects kaya mas magiging magaan ang bata sa bagong curriculum. Ang 5 core subjects ay ang sumusunod: Effective Communication, Life Skills, General Mathematics, General Science, at Pag-aaral ng Kasaysayan at Lipunang Pilipino. Matutukan ang competency na dapat matutunan ng bata.

HAHASAAN ang mga SHS Graduates partikular sa TVL sa pamamagitan ng immersion upang maging handa sila sa demand ng industry na kanilang papasukan kung maghahanap sila ng trabaho. Dahil ang huling semester nila sa grade 12 ay gugugulin nila sa immersion o tinatawag na OJT sa college. Magiging competitive sila.

BIBIGYAN ng CHOICES ang mga learners na tinatawag na "DOORWAY OPTIONS" upang ang mga bata ay may karapatang kumuha at pumili ng mga subjects nila na nakalinya sa kanilang kukunin na kurso sa college. Halimbawa kung ang bata ay may planong mag-engineering, lahat ng elective subjects sa ilalim ng engineering ay mga mathematics ang dapat niyang kunin. At mayroon nang freedom ang bata na pumili ng kanyang mga elective subject mula sa ibang track (Academic o TechPro) upang maiwasan na makulong siya sa kanyang kinuha na track. Halimbawa, nasa academics siya, makakakuha siya ng elective subjects sa TVL, pwede.

Note: Ang mga papasok ng grade 12 ngayong SY 2025-2026 ay "AS IS" WALANG PAGBABAGO, itutuloy ang inyong curriculum. Ang maaapektuhan lang ay ang PAPASOK NG GRADE 11. Kaya ikaw kung hindi ka pa tapos ng grade 12 dahil huminto ka, dapat mag-aral ka na dahil baka maabutan ka ng Strengthened SHS Program/Curriculum, babalik ka pa ng grade 11.

Kaya base sa Senior High School Strengthened Program (Curriculum), magta-transfer ka pa ba ng school? Pagdating mo doon sa paglilipatan mong school, wala na doon ang STEM, HUMSS, SPORTS, ABM, SMAW, nagpakapagod ka lang talaga.

Sana nakapagbigay linaw ito sa ating lahat lalo na sa mga magulang na NAG-AALALA talaga dahil daw mawawala na ang SHS.
