Sa patuloy na pag-antabay ng City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) sa air quality index ng ating lungsod, mula 86 AQI kaninang umaga mabilis itong tumaas dala ng smog na ating nararanasan mula sa Bulkang Taal.

Dahil diyan, suspendido na po ang lahat ng klase sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan ngayong araw, Agosto 19, Lunes, mula 01:00 ng hapon, hanggang bukas, Agosto 20, Martes.

Pinapayuhan po ang lahat na mag-ingat at manatili lamang sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) announced that Taal Volcano increased sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions, resulting in volcanic smog on Monday.

According to its 8AM bulletin, the agency recorded 3,355 tonnes of sulfur dioxide and observed a volcanic smog and an upwelling of hot volcanic fluids in the Main Crater Lake.

Alert Level 1 remains in effect, indicating abnormal conditions and the ongoing threat of eruptive activity.

With this, the agency reminded the public of the potential hazards, including steam-driven explosions, volcanic earthquakes, minor ashfall, and volcanic gas exposure. Entry into the Permanent Danger Zone and Taal Volcano Island is also strictly prohibited. (X/Phivolcs)

Ayon muli sa rekomendasyon ng Imus City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), SUSPENDIDO na po ang FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES bukas, MAY 2, HUWEBES, hanggang MAY 4, SABADO, sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan mula kinder hanggang kolehiyo dahil sa matinding init pa rin ng panahon na aabot sa 42°C heat index.

Ang asynchronous classes o distance learning ay inaasahan din pong ipatutupad.
