The ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ strand successfully conducted its Culminating Activity on October 13โ14, 2025, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of its students through hands-on business operations. A total of eleven (11) student companies participated in this two-day event, applying their knowledge and skills learned from the subject Entrepreneurship.
In this activity, members of ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐น๐๐ฏ served as external auditors, tasked with evaluating the financial performance of each ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ company. They diligently checked financial records, verified sales transactions, and ensured accuracy in the computation of income and expenses. Each company was required to submit compiled receipts and financial information necessary for the preparation of the four major financial statements:
Statement of Comprehensive Income (SCI)
Statement of Changes in Equity (SCE)
Cash Flow Statement (CFS)
Statement of Financial Position (SFP)
The Finance Managers of each ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ company worked collaboratively with the ๐๐๐ students in preparing the four financial statements. The preparation process lasted for two days, following the suspension of face-to-face classes, during which ๐๐๐ students demonstrated both analytical and accounting skills. After the completion of the financial reports, an Independent Auditorsโ Report was prepared to validate the fairness and accuracy of each companyโs financial statements. The groups then conducted actual cash counting to ensure that the physical funds matched their recorded balances.
This collaborative activity allowed both ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ and ๐๐๐ students to experience the practical side of financial management and entrepreneurship, bridging classroom learning with real-world application.
Several special awards will be given to recognize outstanding business performance and entrepreneurial excellence. The Return on Investment (ROI) was computed based on the initial capital to ensure a uniform and fair comparison among all participating groups. The awardees are as follows:
