Today is the DAY, Castañedians!
It is October 13, 2023 and today we are celebrating the 'International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction'. This event is celebrated every 13th of October to acknowledge all the works that is made to reduce the risk during a disaster. It is also a way for the people to be aware on how a disaster is mitigated.
This year's 'International Day of Disaster Risk Reduction' with the theme “Fighting Inequality for A Resilient Future” is celebrated by our school by making the students create a short film with relevance to the theme.

A pleasant morning Castañedians! We, the Safety Officers, hope that this message finds everyone in good health and spirit. As we quickly approach the 2nd month of this school year, it is of utmost importance that your well-being should be at the top of your to-do list. We just want to remind everyone to take it easy, don't hesitate to take a break when needed because your health matters more than your school activities. Don't be afraid to seek help when experiencing distress or when you're going through a tough time. Remember that sacrifice does not always equate to pleasure.
Feel free to share this post to your loved ones or fellow friends and classmates who you think needs to hear this message today.

From our Mayor Alex Advincula, classes in both private and public schools at all levels (Pre-school to College) are suspended tomorrow, September 22, 2023, in the City of Imus due to the possible threat of Volcanic Smog that could affect people's health.
Limit your exposure, stay in indoors as much as possible, wear your facemask when you go out.
Be safe, Castañedians!
