Learning piano the 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 🎹✨—fun, interactive, and meaningful!

Today with Arya, we explored 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬, and we didn’t stop at just memorizing them. We turned the lesson into an engaging activity so she’d remember it even after leaving the studio—and 𝑣𝑜𝑖𝑙𝑎̀! She even created her 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠 out of it 🎶💡

🎸 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐮!
Today we welcomed our new acoustic guitar student, Lou — and what an energy-filled first session it was!

We kicked things off with a quick refresher on the 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫, then moved on to 𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨. Lou also dove into proper 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, learning (and relearning!) 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 and the 𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞.

She’s off to an amazing start, and we can’t wait to see her progress! 🌟

🥁✨ We just wrapped up a fun free drum trial with Adam! He’s a bright 6-year-old who came in with zero experience — but by the end, he was already playing quick rudiments on the snare, kick, and high tom! 🚀🎶

Our free trial classes help us assess each student’s level and tailor their lessons, while giving them a chance to explore if this is something they truly enjoy — truly a win-win! 😉

Today’s lesson focuses on 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 — because while it’s important to know how to 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑦 your instrument, it’s just as important to know how to the notes on the page. 🎶

Learning to read music helps our students connect deeper with their instrument, play new pieces with confidence, and truly understand what they’re performing. 🌟

Ending our work day today with our 2-hour Drums class with Liam 🥁

Liam has been with us for the past 2 years! He enrolled Piano and Drums lessons initially to explore his interest and eventually continued his lessons for Drums course specifically where he really found his passion ❤️

Now, he has remarkably improved! From zero background to the drummer he is now and is still becoming ✨ We’re so proud to see his progress and we’re so humbled to be part of his musical journey!

It has been so rewarding to spend the night with you today, Liam! We’ll see you again next week. Practice while you wait 😉
