Del Pilar Academy was incorporated in 1950 as a commercial high school by some concerned Imus residents and educators. Jose N. Topacio, Sr., Dr. Mabini S. Virata, Mr. Eliseo A. Ocampo, Sr., Mrs. Ester T. Celestial, Dr. Josefa J. Ilano and Miss Teotista B. Topacio. They envisioned to provide a secondary education to the thousands of students of Imus who could not afford to enroll in the schools at

Manila and suburbs or who could not be accommodated at the only private secondary school in Imus. It initially held classes for some 185 first and second year students at the Imus Catholic Convent. Although Del Pilar Academy was named after the town’s patron saint, Nuestra Señora del Pilar, the school is non-sectarian. It has since inculcated and practiced Christian values among the studentry and alumni. The increased enrollment ushered its transfer to its present campus at Gen. Elias Topacio St. in 1955.

Naaalala nyo pa ba sya?
Sya si Ma'am Lynnabel de Vega...
Isa sa mga masiyahin at mabait na teacher natin nung high school...
Nakailang atake na po sya ngayong taon...
At nangangailangan sya ng tulong...

eto po ang msg ni ma'am de vega sa isa sa student nya sa DPA na lumapit din sakin para humingi ng tulong para kay ma'am de vega...

"anak, i need the help of all the tropa, lalo na si rico sabater p**i sabi tulungan akong humingi ng assistance kay mayor strice or vice gov. jolo kailangan ko ng pera para mabili yung dapat ilagay sa heart ko para ako mabuhay second hand lang ang afford ko ibig sabihin galing lang yon sa namatay na ilalagay lang sa akin ang it worth 500 thousand ang bago ay isang million ang halaga ang slightly use ay 700K sana makahingi ako ng financial assistance as soon as possible or else mamatay ako sooner or later. Nanghingi na kami sa PCSO 200 thousand lang DAW ang ma aapprove. sana matulungan nyo ako as soon as you can. Salamat"
