SCHOOL SECURITY ADVISORY
Starting June 23, 2026, the following security rules will be strictly followed at IIST:
• Everyone must have their bags checked when entering the campus
• Only authorized persons and those with official school business are allowed to enter
• People on foot must enter through Gate 2 only
• Vehicles must enter through Gate 1 only
• Parents and guardians with special passes must show them at all times inside the campus
Safety comes first in school. In line with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, all students, parents, staff, and visitors are reminded that regular bag inspections will be conducted at school entrances and gates. Here's what to expect:
1. Professional and Respectful Inspection Procedures
- Security checks shall be carried out in a fair, respectful, and non-discriminatory manner.
- Whenever possible, inspections shall be conducted through visual screening and other non-invasive methods.
- Individuals may be requested to open their own bags or belongings for inspection.
- School personnel shall exercise discretion and avoid unnecessary handling of personal property.
2. Authorized Personnel Conducting Inspections
- Security inspections shall be performed only by duly authorized personnel, including: School security officers, Designated school personnel, Other authorized representatives approved by the school administration
*Parent volunteers or representatives may provide assistance only when authorized by the school.
3. Non-Compliance with Security Procedures
- To maintain campus safety, any student, employee, visitor, or stakeholder who declines to undergo required security screening may be refused entry into school premises.
4. Response to Suspicious or Prohibited Items: Should a suspicious or prohibited item be identified during a security inspection:
- The individual shall be respectfully accompanied to an appropriate school office or designated area.
- Any further verification or inspection shall be conducted in the presence of authorized school officials.
- All actions shall be carried out with due regard for the individual's rights, privacy, and dignity.
- Appropriate school protocols and disciplinary procedures shall be followed when necessary.
Rest assured that these rules are in place to ensure a safe, secure, and orderly learning environment for everyone. Your full cooperation is required as we work together to protect our community.

The mandated subjects IIST Philosophy and Scriptures 1 will be conducted through an online synchronous webinar series this semester.

The official class schedules for Grades 11 and 12 of the Basic Education Department are now available.
To protect the privacy of our faculty members and in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the names of the assigned teachers have been redacted from the schedules posted online.
The complete class schedules, including the names of the assigned teachers, will be posted outside the respective classrooms for your reference.
We encourage all students and parents to review the schedules carefully and stay updated with school announcements as we prepare for an exciting School Year 2026–2027.
