Circle of Hospitality and Tourism Students - CHATS

Our fellow student, Aileen Joeimee Castillo from BSHRM-Irregular, is currently facing financial difficulties. She and her family are humbly asking for our support, prayers, and donations as her child recently suffered a seizure and needs to undergo a Computed Tomography (CT) Scan to determine the cause of the condition and receive proper medical treatment.

They needs to pay a bill amounting to ₱15,400 before the CT scan can be conducted. Due to the unexpected medical expenses, they are kindly seeking financial assistance to help cover the ₱5,000 more to complete the payment.

Every contribution, no matter how small, can bring hope and relief to Aileen and her family during this challenging time.

Ngayong Hunyo 12, ating ginugunita ang ika-128 na Araw ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas—isang makasaysayang pagdiriwang na sumasalamin sa katapangan, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa ating kalayaan. Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang tunay na kalayaan ay may kaakibat na pananagutan at patuloy na paglingap sa kapakanan ng ating bansa.

Sa pagdiriwang na ito, nawa’y patuloy nating pahalagahan ang ating kasaysayan, ipagmalaki ang ating pagka-Pilipino, at magsikap na maging mabubuting mamamayan na magdadala ng pag-asa at pagbabago para sa susunod na henerasyon. Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang diwang makabayan at isabuhay ang pagmamahal sa Inang Bayan. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! 🇵🇭

Last May 28, 2026, the Department of Hospitality Management - CVSU Imus Campus, together with the Circle of Hospitality and Tourism Students (CHATS), successfully conducted the Kitchen Essentials and Bread & Pastry Culminating Activity for the 1st Year Section BSHM 1C, 1D and 1E and 3rd Year BSHM students via Google Meet.

With the theme of "Seven Continents, One Kitchen: Discovering Kitchen Essentials and Pastry Arts Across Seven Continents," participants showcased their creativity, knowledge, and appreciation of diverse culinary traditions from around the world. Through engaging presentations and demonstrations, students explored various kitchen essentials and pastry specialties that reflect the rich culture and heritage of different continents.

This activity served as a platform for students to enhance their culinary skills, broaden their global perspective, and celebrate the artistry of hospitality and pastry making.

Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding efforts and enthusiasm. May this experience continue to inspire future hospitality professionals to embrace creativity, excellence, and cultural appreciation in the culinary industry.
