A new chapter of student leadership begins as passionate and dedicated young leaders gathered for the 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆) 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 2026–2027. This significant event marks the transition of leadership and the continuation of service for the learners of Imus.💙

The activity was made even more meaningful with the presence of our 𝘿𝙁𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙄𝙢𝙪𝙨 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝘼𝙮𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙯𝙪𝙢𝙞 𝙎. 𝘿𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣, who delivered an inspiring message to the newly elected officers and fellow student leaders. In her heartfelt speech, she shared her last goodbyes, reflecting on her journey as a leader and presenting a summary of her accomplishments and initiatives during her term. Her leadership, dedication, and commitment to empowering student voices have truly left a remarkable legacy for the Division of Imus and R4A CALABARZON.✨🙌

Day 2 of the Cavite Youth Leaders Convergence 2026 was filled with 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 as Youth Leaders actively engaged in Team Building activities designed to further enhance our 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. 🤝🔥

Through interactive challenges and collaborative tasks, leaders were given the opportunity to strengthen trust, improve coordination, and develop effective communication—essential qualities of impactful and service-driven leadership. This day allowed participants to step out of their comfort zones, learn from one another, and build stronger connections across different divisions. 💬✨

The highlight of the day was the 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐏𝐀'𝐬, where each group confidently shared innovative programs and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of schools and communities. This activity not only showcased creativity and leadership competence but also deepened our 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥- 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠.📊📌

Day 2 truly emphasized that 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. As Youth Leaders, we move forward empowered with new knowledge, stronger communication skills, and a renewed commitment to serve with purpose and excellence. 💙🇵🇭

Last February 19-20, 2026, the 2-day Cavite Youth Leaders Convergence 2026 proceeded, wherein Division Federated Supreme Secondary Learner Government (DFSSLG), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), Youth for Environment at School Organization (YES-O), and Organization Advisers, and Youth Formation Coordinators took part in.

The Convergence started with a warm welcome from inspirational speakers such as 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐧 𝐄 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐈𝐈𝐈, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐃𝐎 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐏. 𝐅𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫., 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐃𝐎 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞.

The Inspiration given by respected bodies of the SDO was then followed by the Inspirational message of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐃𝐒) 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞.

The event then proceeded with the Training & Activity Protocol presented by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐏. 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐜, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐈-𝐘𝐅𝐃 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐃𝐎 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞.

The training session officially kicked off with our lovely speaker, 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐄𝐫𝐲𝐜𝐤𝐚 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐓. 𝐑𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 to discuss the value of 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙚: 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙀𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙋𝘼’𝙨 and how our environment impacts our leadership. 🏡

Followed by a very inspirational leader, 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐣𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬, 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟒-𝐀) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭. Who explained the significance of 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 and how it is a tool for 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜. 🇺🇳

Lastly, the session was wrapped up by 𝐌𝐫𝐬.
𝐘𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐀. 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐆𝐞𝐛. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 to discuss the importance of Building 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧. 🚨

In the afternoon, the most awaited 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐏𝐀’𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 officially begun. This experience allowed leaders to showcase their knowledge in creating Proposals and work with people besides their own Division.

In the evening, the day ended by a wonderful 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 wherein all the Youth Leaders got to know and inspire one another. Through this, not only did the leaders grow closer but the Incoming and Outgoing Officers got to give advices to one another. 💡

Through this experience, the DFSSLG gained valuable knowledge, strengthened camaraderie, and renewed our commitment to lead with integrity, passion, and service for the betterment of our schools and communities.💙

𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙄𝙉! 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙏! 🇵🇭

History was made along EDSA from February 22 to 25, 1986. What started out as a demand for justice evolved into the potent and nonviolent movement known as the EDSA People Power Revolution. Millions of Filipinos, including workers, parents, nuns, priests, soldiers, and students, came together with the common goal of restoring democracy and putting an end to Ferdinand Marcos' protracted dictatorship.

The country suffered from fear, censorship, human rights abuses, and silenced voices for many years. The Filipino spirit persevered despite the silent suffering of many. The people chose bravery over fear when the time came, they joined arms in solidarity, prayed the rosary in the streets, offered flowers to soldiers, and stood in front of tanks.

The world watched in wonder as a bloodless revolution demonstrated that true power comes from the people's combined will, not from authority or weapons. Church leaders and common Filipinos stood side by side. A dictator left the nation, and democracy was reinstated during those four momentous days.

However, EDSA is not merely a section in our textbooks. It serves as a reminder of the power of unity. It teaches us that freedom must be fought for, defended, and remembered; it is not something that is granted freely. Every generation is urged to be watchful, to uphold the truth, and to confront injustice.

As we remember People Power, may we not only look back with pride but also move forward with responsibility. The spirit of EDSA lives on whenever Filipinos choose courage over silence, unity over division, and hope over fear.

Last 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 26-27, 2026, The Training on Creating Safe Spaces, Promoting Anti-Bullying, And Mental Health in Schools proceeded. Wherein Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), and Educators took part in.

The Training commenced with an energizer lead by the Division Federated Supreme Secondary Learner Government (DFSSLG) and the Division Federated Supreme Elementary Learner Government (DFSELG).
Followed by the Mode of Learning (MOL) presented by Justin Cachero, DFSSLG Vice President and the Reflection and Summary presented by Ma’am Arlene Ante-Amaro, Adviser of Gen. Topacio Licerio NHS SSLG.

The speakers; Atty. Mario T. Tamondong Jr.
clearly explained the coverage and exemption of the law. Specifically, the importance of recognizing and fighting against gender-based discrimination especially in school settings. The discussion highlighted the roles of students, teachers, parents, and school administrators in providing action towards inappropriate behavior.

Followed by, Ma’am Nanet Gamboa who emphasized the Importance of Mental Health in Schools. She discussed the emotional, psychological, and physical effects of harassment and bullying in schools. This talk reminded each and everyone to create safe spaces, encourage open talks, offering support, and diminishing discrimination.

The Training then wrapped up through an open forum which allowed Learners and Educators alike to discuss and share personal experiences and questions regarding the topic.

This Training Program was an excellent opportunity that we are grateful to have been part of. The knowledge we have gained from this program will surely help us grow as Leaders and as Individuals that aim to create safe spaces for the school community.

It is choosing what is right over what is easy, and commitment over convenience.✨

In times of campaigning and promises, it is important to remember that positions can be won, but trust must be earned. Leadership is shown through consistency, resilience, and the courage to stand for others, especially when the responsibility feels heavy. Attention fades, recognition disappears, and titles change—but responsibility shapes character and creates lasting impact. As choices are made and voices are heard, may leadership be driven not by ambition, but by responsibility, integrity, and genuine service to others.🫡
