Last June 15, 2026, the West Visayas State University celebrated the PRAISE 2026 Awards with the theme, “Taga WEST Legacy: Standing Strong in Service, Honoring Dedication and Inspiring Excellence.” The awarding ceremony was held at the Green Meadows New Events Place, Sotogrande Hotel Iloilo, Green Meadows Subdivision, Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City.

The West Visayas State University – College of Agriculture and Forestry (WVSU-CAF) reminds the public that all lands, buildings, facilities, and other properties owned by the University are government properties dedicated to public and educational purposes and are subject to existing laws, rules, and regulations governing government-owned assets.

Accordingly, no private individual may validly sell, transfer, convey, lease, or otherwise dispose of any portion of University-owned land or claim ownership rights thereto without lawful authority and approval from the appropriate government authorities. Any purported sale, transfer, or lease of houses or lots within CAF campus is unauthorized, invalid, and shall not be recognized by the University.

The public is therefore strongly advised to exercise due diligence and caution when dealing with advertisements, offers, or transactions involving houses, structures, occupancy rights, or any other improvements situated within WVSU-CAF property. Any transaction entered into without the University's authority will not be recognized and shall have no legal effect with respect to the University’s ownership rights.

📢ADVISORY TO QUALIFIED BS AGRICULTURE AND BS FORESTRY APPLICANTS - Academic Year 2026–2027

All qualified incoming first-year applicants for the BS Agriculture and BS Forestry programs are hereby informed that the Physical and Dental Examination is scheduled on June 17–18, 2026 at the West Visayas State University – Main Campus.

📌Kindly take note of the following reminders:
1. Come on your appointment schedule on time.
2. Bring your Complete Laboratory Results (Original & Photocopy) on your schedule. Put it on a long sized plastic envelop (new student only).
3. Bring 2 pcs 2x2 colored picture (new student only).
3. No WALK-IN.
4. No companion is allowed.
5. Students are encouraged to bring their own ballpen, hand sanitizer/alcohol, tissue paper and face mask.
6. For women with long hair, please ensure your hair is neatly tied up in a ponytail.
7. NO nail polish upon physical examination.

📌Dress code:
MALE – Walking shorts, Sandals, Slippers
FEMALE- Dress, Skirts, Shorts, Sandals, Slippers

This physical examination is a requirement for the enrollment, and attendance is mandatory.

The COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE and FORESTRY would like to congratulate the following list of students who are qualified to take the Physical and Dental Examination at WVSU-Main Campus, Lapaz, Iloilo City.

Please proceed to WVSU-CAF Medical/Dental Office to secure your laboratory requests from June 9-12, 2026. Failure to get your laboratory request will result to the forfeiture of your application and your slot will be replaced.

The wait is over! The Agriculturists Review Program for the 2026 Agriculturists Licensure Examination (AgLE) officially begins on June 8, 2026.

We are excited to welcome all Batch 2026 Graduates, Retakers, and Previous Years’ Graduates as we embark on a 23-week journey of learning, preparation, and professional growth. This review program is designed to strengthen your knowledge and skills across the six core areas of AgLE through intensive lectures, quizzes, mock examinations, and coaching sessions.

📅 Start of Classes: June 8, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. (Mondays to Wednesdays)
📍 Venue: College of Agriculture Building, Rooms 7 & 8
Registration Fee: ₱5,000.00
(Downpayment on June 8: ₱1,000.00)
