The ISAT U GAD Peer Advocates officially opened the WE Booth, Art Exhibit, and WE Busking on March 5, 2026, in front of the GAD Center, as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month Celebration 2026.

The event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a vibrant showcase of creativity, talent, and advocacy, highlighting the university community’s strong support for gender equality and an inclusive society. Through art, music, and interactive booths, the activity served as a platform to celebrate women’s empowerment and promote awareness on gender and development.

In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, the ISAT U GAD Peer Advocates proudly joined the university-wide observance embracing the theme, “WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society.”

United in purple, the advocates stood in solidarity with faculty members, staff, and students to reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing gender equality and strengthening inclusivity within the academic community. Their participation reflects a continuous effort to promote respect, dignity, and equal opportunities for all.

Through collective action and empowered voices, the GAD Peer Advocates help foster a campus environment where everyone is valued. As ISAT U champions initiatives for equality and social progress, this celebration reminds us that meaningful change happens when we work together — as one community, as one “WE.” 💜

𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 | In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month last October 2025, the Gender and Development (GAD) Peer Advocates proudly took part in “Wellness Wonderland: Nurturing Your Inner Child” at the ISAT University GAD Center. In partnership with the University Guidance and Counseling Center, the Office of Student Affairs and Services, the University Gender Center, and student organizations, the event became a vibrant space for healing, connection, and self-expression.

The GAD Peer Advocates actively supported and engaged in interactive booths that brought wellness to life—Heart Therapy, Rainbow Connections, Picture & Ponder, Pawsitive Pets, Music in Me, and Carnival Classics. Each activity encouraged participants to reconnect with their inner child while promoting meaningful conversations about mental wellness and self-care. Through colors, creativity, music, and shared laughter, the event transformed the GAD Center into a safe haven where students, faculty, and staff could pause, reflect, and simply feel.

More than just a celebration, Wellness Wonderland 2025 emphasized that mental health is a shared responsibility. The presence and participation of the GAD Peer Advocates reinforced their commitment to building an inclusive and supportive university environment—one where every individual is heard, valued, and empowered.

As the celebration continues to inspire the ISATU community, one message remains clear: healing happens when we come together.
