Let us all come together and take part in the 2nd Quarter NSED this June 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM. This activity is not just a routineβit is a lifesaving practice that prepares everyone to respond effectively during real emergencies.
Earthquakes strike without warning, but preparedness gives us the power to stay safe. By learning and practicing the βDuck, Cover, and Holdβ technique, we strengthen our ability to protect ourselves, our learners, and our community.
To all school heads, teachers, learners, and personnelβyour participation matters. Let us work hand in hand to ensure safety protocols are followed, evacuation plans are clear, and everyone is informed and ready.

The La Paz National High School (LPNHS) SDRRM proudly participated in the Invitational Fun Run and Mangrove Planting for a Cause, an activity dedicated to Cancer Awareness and Environmental Conservation.
Through the fun run, participants promoted a healthy lifestyle while raising awareness about the importance of cancer prevention and support for those affected by the disease. Following the event, volunteers took part in mangrove planting, contributing to the protection and restoration of coastal ecosystems.
This meaningful activity reflects the commitment of LPNHS SDRRM to community service, environmental stewardship, and disaster resilience. Together, we run for a cause, plant for the future, and make a positive impact on our community.

With pride and enthusiasm, the La Paz National High School SDRRM actively participated in the Club Fair 2026, creating an engaging and informative experience for all Lapazenians. Our booth became a hub of learning, excitement, and discovery as students explored the vital role of disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community safety.
Visitors had the opportunity to witness and learn about our emergency response equipment, first aid supplies, rescue tools, and other essential resources that enable our team to respond effectively during emergencies. Through interactive discussions and demonstrations, we highlighted the importance of preparedness, resilience, and service.
More than just a showcase, the event also opened doors for aspiring student volunteers who share our passion for helping others and making a difference. We were honored to welcome interested students and introduce them to the values and responsibilities of being part of the SDRRM family.
As we continue to build a safer and more resilient school community, we thank everyone who visited our booth, showed their support, and expressed their interest in joining our organization.

This initiative provides valuable support to our students as they begin another academic year, helping ensure that they are equipped and ready for learning. Your commitment to education and student welfare continues to make a positive impact on the lives of young Ilonggos.
At the same time, the La Paz National High School SDRRM Team remained on duty throughout the activity, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, teachers, staff, parents, and visitors. La Paz National High School SDRRM Team
In light of the recent earthquake reported in Davao, the La Paz National High School SDRRM Team would like to assure all students, parents, teachers, and stakeholders that our school continuously promotes disaster preparedness and emergency readiness.
The LPNHS SDRRM Team remains prepared to respond to emergencies through regular safety orientations, earthquake drills, emergency planning, and coordination with school authorities and partner agencies. Our commitment is to ensure a safe learning environment for every La Pazenian.
We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and prepared at all times. Earthquakes can happen without warning, and being prepared can save lives.
During an Earthquake:

Stay calm and do not panic.
β
Duck, Cover, and Hold.
β
Stay away from windows, glass, and unsecured objects.
β
Follow the instructions of teachers, SDRRM personnel, and emergency responders.
After an Earthquake:
β
Check for injuries and provide assistance when safe.
β
Be alert for aftershocks.
β
Proceed to designated evacuation areas if necessary.
β
Wait for official announcements before returning to buildings.
As part of our commitment to disaster resilience, the LPNHS SDRRM Team will continue to strengthen preparedness measures and ensure that emergency response protocols are always ready for implementation.
