Like seeds once sown in seasons of hope, you have grown through time, through trials, and through quiet determination. What once were dreams whispered in the heart now stand before you, real, earned, and alive.

Once again congratulations 𝐀𝐁 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬. This journey has been more than paths walked and lessons learned. It has been the shaping of who you are becoming. And now, as one chapter gently closes, another rises like dawn, unwritten, vast, and waiting for your courage to fill its pages.

The sleepless nights paid off, the sweat and sacrifices were not in vain, and the dream of a diploma has finally been reached. Yet this is not the end. It is only the beginning of a wider race where no dream is left behind in the pursuit of purpose and passion.

𝗪𝗜𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗦𝗖𝗜: 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 💜💛

Last April 15, 2026, WIT Political Science participated in Tayo ang GoodGov Generation, a movement by Mayors for Good Governance that empowers young leaders to act and speak with integrity.

As shared by Benjie Magalong, Mayor of Baguio City, leadership is defined by character, rooted in truth and built on the right foundation. Janina Vela, a socio-political influencer and advocate for good governance, emphasized that if we do not take up space and speak for good governance, others will.

Meanwhile, Paolo Calalang, founder of Ten Accomplished Youth Organization, highlighted that effective leadership grows through listening, seeking feedback from the people we serve to better understand and improve ourselves.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. It challenges us to step forward, use our voices, and lead with integrity in shaping a better future.

𝐖𝐈𝐓 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 continues to engage communities in meaningful conversations on the value of every vote. Voter’s Education is not just about elections as it is about shaping the nation’s future.

Speakers during the 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 highlighted its vital role in safeguarding freedom through discussion that uplifts their rights and empowers democracy.

𝐖𝐈𝐓 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 continues to engage in activities that promote discussion and inspire civic responsibility. Through the Bill of Rights Seminar, we aim to empower the citizens of 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲, 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬 to know, value, and defend their rights.

Victory and intellect rise as the 𝐖𝐈𝐓 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 secured 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩 in the 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, held at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞. The team demonstrated remarkable teamwork, analytical skills, and excellence in the principles of democracy and good governance.

Amidst oppression, a nation once rose without violence, united by a collective cry for change. From 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟐 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟓, 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟔, millions of Filipinos gathered along 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐀𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 in what became known as the 𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, a historic and peaceful uprising that transformed the nation’s political landscape. For four days, civilians, religious leaders, students, and soldiers stood together in solidarity, demonstrating the strength of unity and nonviolent resistance.

This peaceful uprising led to the end of the two-decade rule of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and the restoration of democratic governance under Corazon Aquino, marking a turning point in the nation’s political history. Supported by the calls of the Catholic Church and the collective action of the Filipino people, the revolution became a global symbol of nonviolent change and people-driven democracy.

It reminds us how oppression can silence the marginalized and how the abuse of power can lead to cruelty. As Filipinos, we must uphold the true essence of democracy, a government of the people, by the people, and for the people grounded in equality, freedom, and justice.

The 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 took part in an 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 in 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨, 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 last 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟏, designed to promote literacy and numeracy among young children. Through this initiative, the students not only shared knowledge but also instilled the values of wisdom, integrity, and truth, empowering the next generation to grow with purpose and character.

By connecting with the children and their families, the WIT Political Science students showed that education extends beyond the classroom can make a difference and that even small acts of service can create a lasting impact. Special thanks to 4-Town Supermarket for generously accommodating the venue and supporting this meaningful outreach by LASSC - NSTP LTS. 🤲

This outreach reminds us all that every act of kindness and every shared lesson has the power to shape brighter futures. Let us remember that as changemakers, guiding one child at a time helps us build a community grounded in service and responsibility. 💜💛
