Monthly Workshop | September 18, 2026

This September, our teachers embraced reflection, learned from mistakes, and explored ways to grow as ESL educators through “From Reflection to Action: Growing as an ESL Teacher.” 🌱

Through “Teacher Hot Seat: What Would You Do?”, they tackled unexpected classroom challenges and practiced staying calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure. 🎤🔥

At Talkstation, every challenge is an opportunity to reflect, respond, and grow. 💙

This September, our teachers embraced reflection, learned from mistakes, and explored ways to grow as ESL educators through “𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐒𝐋 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫.” 🌱

Our teachers participated in “𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐭: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐨?” 🎤🔥, where they tackled unexpected classroom challenges and practiced staying calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure.

They also took part in role-playing activities 🎭, allowing them to put their ideas into practice, explore different classroom situations, and strengthen their problem-solving and communication skills.

To wrap up the learning experience, we had a Q&A activity 💬✨ where everyone had the opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and learn from one another’s experiences.

Lights, camera, share! Our September Peer Group gave our newbies and ALs a chance to get to know each other beyond the classroom by sharing the movies they love most. 💬❤️

From comedy to horror, romance, action, and everything in between, everyone had the opportunity to talk about their favorite films, share why they enjoy them, and discover something new about their fellow teachers. 🎭🍿

Because sometimes, the best way to build connections is simply to sit, share, listen, and enjoy a good conversation together. 🫶
