Zone: Sustained Action for a Dengue-Free Environment begins within the university, empowering students to lead weekly health monitoring, dengue education, and campus-wide environmental action guided by the DOH’s 4S strategy. A map of mosquito breeding grounds will be created to serve as baseline data, allowing the program to target and attack the problem at its source. Through active surveillance, ovitrap monitoring, and improved waste management, the initiative builds a university-to-community model aimed at protecting families in Barangay Sooc and beyond—proving that prevention starts with informed, collective action.

🌏 GREENstitutions: Single-Use Plastic Waste Report Count and Audit calls for accountability and transformation within campus spaces. By conducting a semester-long audit of single-use plastics in canteens and kiosks, presenting data-driven recommendations, and advocating for a shift to organic packaging, the initiative promotes institutional responsibility and long-term environmental stewardship. The harmonious collaboration of the students, administration, and all communities within the institution leads to a sustainable, greener, and vibrant West Visayas State University.

Together, these advocacies pulse with purpose—protecting lives, preserving the environment, and inspiring a culture of conscious action. They remind us that real change is not measured by applause, but by safer homes, healthier communities, and institutions that lead with integrity.

Last February 13 was not only a celebration of love but also a showcase of energy, creativity, and collective wisdom as Synthexia took part in 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐏𝐍𝐀𝐆: 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2026, organized by the University Student Council. 💟🌻

Most members joined the 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙚, an NSTP-led activity filled with games and learning discussions across campus stations that highlighted different advocacy-related themes.

Members also shared their passion through 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, formally presenting their advocacies, and the 𝙊𝙧𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩, where student organizations showcased creativity through interactive booths. 🎭🎨
