𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴! 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻!

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 na Araw ng Kalayaan, alalahanin natin na ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon ay bunga ng katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga Pilipinong nangarap ng mas maliwanag na bukas.

Nawa'y lalo pa tayong maging maka-Pilipino at isabuhay ang diwa ng kalayaan sa ating mga salita at gawa—lalo na sa pagpili ng mga karapat-dapat na lider, pagkalap ng makatotohanan at mapanuring impormasyon, at tapat na paglilingkod sa kapwa at sa bayan.

Para sa kabataan at para sa mahal nating lupang hinirang—isang kalayaang ipinaglaban noon, pinahahalagahan ngayon, at ipagpapatuloy para sa mga susunod na henerasyon!

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲—𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘆!

Today, June 9, 2026, marks the start of another exciting school year as the Grade School pupils are warmly welcomed back to school for a three-day 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘢 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘴. Apart from meeting new classmates and reconnecting with friends, the students will be reintroduced to Atenean school procedures, routines, and expectations, providing them with a purposeful and meaningful head start to the academic year ahead.

As this new chapter unfolds, may our young Ateneans move forward with purpose, embracing every opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in service for and with others. Here's to a year of pursuing excellence, nurturing character, and discovering the joy of learning—the Ateneo Way!

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦 💙💫

On 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Grade School Student Council launched its first outreach program of the year, “𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦,” at 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐆 (𝐓𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐥, 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦) under the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Iloilo City. Our Grade School learners had the opportunity to interact with children with special needs and personally deliver much-needed donations.

This initiative built on their earlier project, 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞, where learners sold creative products to raise funds. All proceeds were used to provide office supplies and educational materials for the center, turning their efforts into meaningful support for others.

Through this experience, our students embodied the Ignatian value of 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬, honoring each person as a unique and whole individual. The project also reflected the call to be 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, as learning was transformed into action, and 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 was offered with care, generosity, and compassion.

of support into 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞.

Catching feelings for 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 is the way for the main character, such as ourselves, to thrive.

𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 allows us to dig deeper into how we feel and learn the "𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬” of expressing our feelings in healthy ways to develop resilience and compassion, build meaningful relationships, and create a supportive school environment.

Students visited our 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 and shared how they felt. Together, we embraced the main character inside us by being in our𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐞𝐫𝐚.

Let’s give importance to ourselves as we appreciate how we feel. 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠!💅

Today, we celebrate not only your life but the grace you continuously share with the Ateneo de Iloilo–Santa Maria Catholic School community.

Your leadership is a true 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭, your kindness a lesson in 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞, and your vision a reflection of 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 at work in our school.

As the song beautifully says, “𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐈’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.” We are deeply grateful that God has sent you to be part of our Atenean journey—a light of wisdom and a heart that leads with love.

𝐀𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐢 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦!

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 ✨🌍

For the 3rd year, the school joined the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 hosted by the 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡. This took place last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with the cleanup proper starting at 6:30 AM at 𝟖 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞, 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐨, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

The school community, together with the active clubs and organizations from ADI, continues to bring energy, teamwork, and love for the environment as they unite once again to protect the seas and shores.

More than just a clean-up drive—it was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people work together. Several volunteers from the school showed up with gloves and bags, ready to tackle the mess and make a real difference in the community.
