On June 18, 2021, Jayobo National High School officially converted to Jayobo Farm School, marking a significant milestone in its history. This transformation was made possible under the provisions of Republic Act No. 10618, otherwise known as the Rural Farm Schools Act, which strengthens secondary education through agriculture-based learning and skills development.

His leadership, together with the unwavering support of the institution’s visionary leaders from national, regional and the schools division office, teachers, parents, learners, provincial and local government units, private individuals and community stakeholders, has enabled the school to flourish as a center of excellence in agricultural and entrepreneurial education.
As we commemorate this milestone, we celebrate not only five years of being a farm school but also the countless achievements, partnerships, and lives transformed along the way.

Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future: Celebrating 128 Years of Philippine Independence
On June 12, 1898, the Philippines declared its independence from Spain in Kawit, Cavite. Led by Emilio Aguinaldo, this historic event marked the Filipino people’s assertion of freedom and nationhood after more than three centuries of colonial rule. During the historic proclamation, the Philippine flag was unfurled for the first time, and the national anthem was played, symbolizing the freedom of the Filipino nation.
Today, Independence Day reminds us of the sacrifices and heroism of those who fought for our freedom. It is a time to honor our rich history, celebrate our national identity, and reflect on our responsibility as citizens to uphold the values of liberty, unity, patriotism, and service to the country. As Filipinos, we continue to cherish the hard-earned freedom passed on by our heroes and strive to build a better future for generations to come.
