ISA Summer Recital Highlights Young Musical Talent

Learners of Iloilo Scholastic Academy showcased their musical talents during the school’s annual Summer Music Recital held on May 16 at the Iloilo Scholastic Academy Gym, featuring performances in piano, guitar, violin, drums, and voice.

Parents, facilitators, and guests filled the venue as the young performers demonstrated their hard work and dedication through a variety of musical pieces. The recital aimed to encourage learners to develop confidence and appreciation for music.

Anjelia Montenegro, an incoming Grade 3 learner, shared that her love for singing began because of her older sister, who often sang at home and encouraged her to practice.

“My sister inspired me to sing because I always looked up to her. Watching her perform made me want to become confident too,” she said.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to participating learners and a group photo.

STEMCO (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Competition) is an international academic competition designed to challenge learners in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and applied STEM concepts across different disciplines.

76.7% of the ISA Senior High School Class of 2026 passed at least one of the country’s Top 3 universities.

With acceptances to Ateneo de Manila University, the University of the Philippines, and De La Salle University, our ISAers continue to show what strong foundations can make possible.

UP : 40% passing rate
DLSU: 76.7% passing rate

A strong international performance from Sean Christan Pagulong!

Sean earned an International Silver Award in the 2026 VOS English Language Olympiad Preliminary Round, an international competition focused on English proficiency, comprehension, and communication skills.

He also received an International Silver Award in Science and an International Bronze Award in Mathematics at the 2026 Sino International Science & Mathematics Olympiad (SISMO) International Final Round, which is a global olympiad that brings together young learners from different countries to compete in advanced science and mathematics challenges.

The SiL English Olympiad is an international English assessment aligned with British curriculum standards and designed to evaluate students’ reading, grammar, vocabulary, and overall language proficiency.
