These parting words from Nanay Belle, an alumna of the University of San Agustin herself, lingered in the air long after they were spokenโetched into memory like a quiet blessing. They carried not only the echo of lived wisdom but the fire of unwavering hopeโhope for the youth she once was, and faith in the future we now hold in our hands.
On ๐๐๐น๐ ๐ญ๐ฎ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, One Bee Hive proudly brought to life ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ธ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ผโ๐๐๐บ๐ผ๐๐ผ!, a grassroots voter education initiative with soul, held at the heart of ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฒ, ๐ ๐ผ๐น๐ผ, ๐๐น๐ผ๐ถ๐น๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐๐. What was initially envisioned as a civic workshop soon bloomed into something far greater: a vibrant movementโpart seminar, part celebration, and wholly a testament to the power of engaged communities.
From the very first moment, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation and electric sincerity. At the core of this ignition were our extraordinary guest speakers: ๐๐๐๐. ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ป๐ฎ, known for his legal brilliance and unshakable moral compass, and ๐๐๐๐. ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ, an esteemed faculty member of the University of San Agustin, whose presence commanded both admiration and inspiration. Their messages rang clear and urgentโreminding every soul in attendance that informed voting is not just a right, but a duty bathed in dignity.
But the heartbeat of the day came from our very own hive: ๐๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐, ๐๐๐๐บ๐ถ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐๐ฑ๐ผ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐น๐น๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป, whose courage, clarity, and charisma embodied what Project SIKLAB stood for. Their words did more than educateโthey stirred hearts, challenged minds, and lit a fire among the youth of Infante to not only vote, but to vote wisely and bravely.
Even as the midday sun scorched with a rising heat index, the spirit of the crowd never wavered. The people of Barangay Infante stayedโnot just in body, but in spirit. They clapped, laughed, reflected, and participated with a sense of purpose rarely seen. Every segmentโfrom impromptu dance numbers and community singing, to candid Q&A sessionsโwas a mirror reflecting their joy, hope, and awakening political consciousness.
And when the raffle numbers were called and Jollibee meals were servedโgenerously sponsored by One Bee Hiveโit was as though the hall itself smiled. Children giggled, elders cheered, and everyone, regardless of age, shared in a moment of simple, profound connection.
