We also offer classes in Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu, Sugawara-ha.
We teach the following:
• Kenjutsu (Japanese swordsmanship)
• Iaijutsu, Tachiai Battojutsu (Japanese sword drawing techniques)
• Ryotojutsu (two swords)
• Kodachi (short sword)
• Bojutsu (long staff technique)
• Naginatajutsu (glaive art)
• Sojutsu (spear art)

Congratulations Antoine Gerard for passing his 3rd-dan (sandan) exam last September 5th during the Malaysia Open Kendo Championship 2026 held in Malaysia. Iloilo's first 3rd-dan Kendoka. Looking forward to exciting learnings he'll bring home with him for Iloilo Kendo Club to level up.
