The second part of 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓪𝓴 𝓐𝓰𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓸 focused on providing accessible health services to the community. Participants underwent registration process, followed by essential laboratory tests—specifically glucose testing and urinalysis—performed by MLS students under faculty supervision. Vitamins were also distributed by the College of Pharmacy, while medical consultations were conducted by our competent and esteemed doctors:

Last October 29, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science successfully conducted 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓪𝓴 𝓐𝓰𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓸, a service-learning initiative under Analysis of Urine and Body Fluids and Clinical Chemistry. The activity began with the arrival of participants on campus, followed by the formal opening program highlighted by an insightful lecture from our esteemed speaker, Dr. James Gabriel P. Moises.

Interactive games, educational booths, and collaborative activities further enriched the experience, showcasing our commitment to community engagement and inclusive learning. The event concluded with gratitude, reflection, and renewed dedication to promoting health and wellness among our fellow Agustinians and beyond the University.

Last October 25, the residents of Brgy. Cubay, Jaro, Iloilo took part in an engaging orientation session led by the Medical Laboratory Science instructors in preparation and as part of Service Learning “Patak Agustino” of the BSMLS 3rd Year students of the University of San Agustin. 🙌
